Ah – raining again? 1000 degrees too hot to face the park? Or is your crew just in need of a change of scenery before the cabin fever sets in and drives everyone crazy?
Perfect for that raining or sweltering day, or just when you don’t feel like having the house turned upside down, Singapore has scores of indoor playgrounds to entertain your kids. Here’s our run-down of the best of the bunch.
Royce’s is a top performer in the indoor playcentre category and if you’re a frequent attendee, you’ll love how they rotate the toys for your tots. Go Go Bambini is all noise and go-go-go and is sure to tire them out before their time is up. Fidgets is our other playtime favourite and is free for your under 1’s.
After a playtime session, enjoy a meal at the uber-family-friendly restaurant at Tanglin Tree – but make sure you book the playcentre a week in advance….it can be busy. Close by, at the Tanglin Shopping Centure is Kampong Playhouse – slightly less crowded but perfect to reward the kids after your spot of shopping.
If you have a real bundle of energy in your house that you need to entertain, the Tumblers Wobblers Class at JWT Kids Gym will have them all worn out.
Or, if you’re after a good playhouse/restaurant combo, Rochester Park will tick all your boxes.
And we have to mention Grace Kids if you’re passing by Great World City.
Go east my friend for an adventure at Polliwogs. And Kallang Leisure Park has Peak-a-boo, where you can keep an eye on your little ones from every angle. Or try Frisk’N’Romp Kids Playclub on the ECP at Playground@BigSplash – perfect for an afternoon of activities.
And for those of you with little troopers of all ages, try the Orchid County Club which has the Orchid Bowl and Little O’Zone has an indoor playground for your toddler, bowling for the older kids and snooker for the over 16’s.
Or for something a bit closer to home, get your Mummas and Bubbas together for a musical session at any condo with Musical Monkeys.
