Expect to find new and revamped immersive digital experiences where art meets science that the kiddos (and the grownups) will love. Think of mesmerising underwater scenes, evolving cityscapes and celestial wonders. Here’s why you need to check it out, pronto!
The best of FUTURE WORLD
The digital playground features two main narratives inspired by Singapore: City in A Garden (with eight installations) and Exploring New Frontiers (with four installations).
City in A Garden

Kick off your journey at Transcending Boundaries, A Whole Year per hour. A whimsical space teeming with interactive flora and fauna. A perfect opp to strike a gram-worthy pose amid fluttering butterflies, blooming blossoms and gushing waterfalls! Dreamy indeed! Don’t max out on your cam just yet (we know it can be tempting)!
Make your way to 100 Years Sea – An animated video of oceans illustrated with an East Asian style of art. The hypnotic display depicts the raising sea levels brought about by climate change. A bitter reality based on scientific data derived from the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). Psst, the display is very soothing to look at, in case you have a restless tod for company!
The next immersive experience is one the littlies will love – Sliding through the Fruit Field. Capture your kiddos on cam as they make their way down a slide with interactive artwork of a fruit field. Wow! Watch a vibrant celebration of blossoming and popping fruits and flowers as they slide down. We were awe-struck!

City in A Garden features four other immersive installations designed especially for the kiddos. Best part? The littlies can put their creativity to the test to truly enjoy the experiences. Imagine your kid’s marine-life sketches projected into mesmerising underwater scenes at the gigantic Sketch Aquarium. Wow! Or sketching alongside making music at the Sketch Piston – Playing Music. Other creative installations the kiddies will love include Table Where Little People Live, and Inverted Globe, Giant Connecting Block Town. While the kiddos are at it, don’t miss out on Proliferating Immense Life. A breathtaking installation depicting the life cycle of flowers through four seasons.
Exploring New Frontiers

Exploring New Frontiers takes you deeper into the immersive world of art and science with four mind-boggling installations. Only this narrative takes visitors on a journey upward and outward into the skies.
Kickstart the journey from Autonomous Abstraction, Continuous Phenomena from the Universe to the Self – a vibrant space that explores the phenomenon of self-organisation. Great for the gram!

Make your way to Aerial Climbing through a Flock of Colored Birds and journey the skies amid flying birds all around you. The littlies will go into a tizzy navigating step-by-step on rope-suspended bars through the artwork. Psst, each journey is unique, with different coordinated patterns in the sky.
How about flexing those art muscles and wings? Sketch Flight is the next great space to explore an aerial world. Colour an aeroplane, butterfly, or hawk on paper, and see it flying through the world on the giant screen in front of you. The kids can take their enjoyment level up a notch by controlling its flight via a tablet device. Pretty cool!

Finally, the pièce de résistance (and our absolute fave) is Space’s Crystal Universe. Packed with 184,200 LED lights, the breathtaking celestial room reacts to you as you walk through it and can be customised through your very own smartphone.
And there you have it! The best of FUTURE WORLD and a fab way for kids to discover the world through art and science. We can’t wait to be back, as no two visits are the same with its ever-evolving installations. Tickets start from as low as $14 for a local family package of four. That sounds like a great deal!
