We've been digging around to find the best restaurants in Singapore that serve up healthy kids menus beyond the usual hot dogs and French fries...
Fancy mixing it up a bit and offer the kids something other than a hot dog or fish and chips? Want to deviate from the usual chicken nuggets, chips, pizza or spag bol? Don’t get us wrong, we love a good old chicken nugget as much as the next mum, but it’s sometimes nice to find a restaurant that provides balanced options for kids and a bit of variety to inspire the kiddos to enjoy new flavours. We’ve put together our fave healthy kids’ menu options in Singapore for you to try out…
The best restaurants in Singapore with healthy kids’ menus
1. Super Loco

River Valley dwellers struck gold when Super Loco moved into the neighbourhood! We love the idea of introducing new flavours to the kids in different ways and Super Loco’s custom kids’ menu is perfect for this. With options like grilled sweetcorn, avocado and tomato on toast as well as chicken and cheese taco, the kids will invariably find something to fill them up. We’re also super impressed with the pricing of the kids’ menu, with dishes starting at just $5 a pop.
Super Loco, The Quayside, 60 Robertson Quay #01-13, Singapore 238252
2. Huber’s Bistro

We love Huber’s Bistro’s approach to kids’ food – offer them the same as the adults, just in smaller portions! Just look for the little cow icon beside relevant menu items to indicate what you can order in a child-sized serve. The service at Huber’s is great too: it’s kid-friendly and very accommodating. It also has a fenced-in playground (cue majestic music and vocalists singing Hallelujah!) so you can head there early for a bit of playtime before dinner. With food options like meatloaf served with creamed spinach and sausages with potato salad, we’re sure there’s something here to suit even fussy eaters.
Huber’s Bistro, 22 Dempsey Road, Singapore 249679
3. The Living Cafe

If you’re lucky enough to have kiddies who are already into healthy eating, The Living Cafe should be high up on your list of dining experiences. It’s fully committed to clean eating and kids are no exception. They can tuck into a healthy veggie or chicken pizza, brown fried rice, must-have greens and sweet potato fries. Wash it all down with a cashew milk ‘Chocolate Monkey’.
The Living Cafe, 779 Bukit Timah Road, Singapore 269758
4. Carrotsticks & Cravings

It’s so refreshing to see (healthy) kids’ menus that deviate from the standard ‘reliable’ kids fare. Carrotsticks & Cravings does just that with its delish offerings. It’s got a mini acai bowl, toast with smashed avocado and feta and even treats like coconut water and fresh fruit popsicles on its healthy and tasty menu.
Carrotsticks & Cravings, locations at Dempsey Hill, Robertson Quay and Stanley Street
5. Trapizza

Arguably the best spot for a relaxed lunch with the kiddos, Trapizza certainly offers delicious alternatives for kids’ lunches. And what child isn’t going to love having their meal served up to them in an adorable bento car? You can build your own bento, with a choice of pasta, then fruit, corn or salad, a slice of homemade pizza and juice. While waiting, older kids can pop down to the beach for a dip while little one can splash in the exclusive water play area.

6. Ikea

Ikea is an impressive beast – not only have they thought of everything for your home, now they’re feeding your children healthy meals too. Whilst it may not be Michelin-starred fare, there are some healthy, yummy options for the kids at Ikea – all served up at very low prices (just like its furniture). The kiddos could try the Swedish meatballs with mash and broccoli for $3 (or $1.50 for Smales members), pasta or salmon lasagne with broccoli.

7. Veganburg
Nothing screams healthy kids’ menus than an all-vegetarian eatery! Intending to cut down on consuming meat? At Veganburg, there are plenty of plant-based options for you to choose from. And don’t worry, it still tastes yummy so your younglings won’t be able to tell the difference. Order the mini meal, which comes with a mini burger, a side of fries and broccoli, cookies and a drink. There’s also a sticker pack thrown in… perhaps to distract the kids from what they’ll be eating!
Veganburg, 44 Jalan Eunos, Singapore 419502
8. Open Farm Community

Healthy yet inventive dishes? Look no further than Open Farm Community, AKA one of our favourite spots to treat the kids – and ourselves. We love the whole “from farm to table” concept, which means fresh, organic produce is used in the meals. We can guarantee that the food’s delish – no leftovers on the table when we were there! Also, we definitely love how the business is diligent about being sustainable. Definitely a place that we constantly go back to.
Open Farm Community, 130E Minden Road, Singapore 248819
9. Cedele

This restaurant chain’s philosophy of nourishing foods for a balanced diet is one that we can get behind. There are zero trans fats and artificial ingredients in its offerings, and everything is made using the freshest natural ingredients. This, of course, extends to the kids’ menu, ensuring that your little ones get to enjoy healthy, nutritious nosh too. The outlet at Wheelock Place features vegan dishes that make up a third of its menu. You’ll definitely “eat well” and “be well” if you dine at Cedele!
Cedele, various locations throughout Singapore
10. NOM

An eating place with a healthy kids’ menu in the heartlands of Singapore? Who would’ve thought! NOM, which stands for No Other Meaning (not “nom” as in eat, sadly), offers wholesome food at affordable prices. We love that everything here comes without any preservatives, while still keeping it tasty. Psst, desserts are said to be made entirely out of fruits and do not contain dairy, refined sugars and eggs. Plus, there are plenty of spaces where the kiddos can enjoy some indoor fun.
NOM, Macpherson Community Club, 400 Paya Lebar Way Level 1, Singapore 379131
