You’re spoilt for choice in Bukit Merah when it comes to vegan options. Not only is it home to Sunnychoice (see above), but a hop, skip and a jump away, you’ll find hip-haunt – Nature Cafe. This is perfect for family dining as it has loads of space, making it light and airy, all big ticks when bringing the family out for dinner. Although the focus here is vegetarian, there are enough vegan options to ensure everyone is happy!

24. Real Food

We love the decor over at Real Food. Although it’s not something we could ever aspire to with kids at home, it is nice to enter some form of zen for dinner, or lunch or breakfast, for that matter. Our faves include fried pumpkin carrot cake (trust us) or one of the delicious burgers with beets or portobello mushrooms which the kids will gobble down.

On the hunt for all that spice and everything nice? We know just the place you should be hitting with the fam for delish vegan Indian cuisine. Good news for parents? This heritage chain hailing from South India serves dishes with no artificial enhancers, MSG, preservatives, additives or processed food. Yay! Most importantly, everything on MTR‘s menu is finger-licking good. Expect to find all-time faves the kiddos will love, like hot and crispy dosas and fluffy idly (rice cakes) with spicy sambhar curry.
