If you’re in the mood for a spread of grilled sausages, steaks and all the trimmings, we’ve done the hunting and gathering for you. Bookmark our guide to the best Western-style butchers in Singapore!
Y’all, we love a good barbecue. Nothing beats Southern-style barbecue with some grits, cornbread, collard greens and pulled pork with a tangy barbecue and hot sauce. And let’s face it, as much as we love the Little Red Dot for being a food haven, it’s still hard to find the real deal (though several of our favourite restaurants have come pretty close!). But fret not, barbecue lovers: we’ve found the best butchers in Singapore who can make your year-round summer feast a roaring success. Even better, most do home deliveries, so all you have to do is break out your barbecue equipment.
The best butchers in Singapore
The Meat Club
New-age Aussie meat delivery business, The Meat Club, is one we’re big fans of, and it has incredibly tender meat and a very cool Auto-Pilot option. Let us explain: these guys supply all-Australian beef and lamb, fly it pre-packed in meal-size portions into Singapore, and then deliver it to your door. The packaging technology it uses allows the meat to last in the fridge for 28 days (14 days for mince), so your meat is never frozen. You can order a pack, or sign up for its Auto-Pilot option, which means you’ll automatically receive your meat order every four weeks. How handy is that? We have tried and tested the product, and the tenderness is out of this world.
Where: online and also via Redmart
Does it deliver? Of course! If you opt for Auto-Pilot, expect delivery on the first Saturday of every month.
If you’ve ever eaten at Huber’s Butchery and Bistro at Dempsey, you know that the produce here is among the best you’ll find on the island (and the cafe is amazingly kid-friendly with an on-site playground!). This European-style butcher flies in its premium meat (we love the Tasmanian grass-fed steak), and makes its famous gourmet sausages on site. Plus, the store is packed with gourmet ingredients and fresh produce so your whole feast is sorted in one shop. Fancy some satay? Pick up the tasty marinated skewers and sauce. Barbecue planning done and dusted, and delivered to your door.

Does it deliver? Yes, except Sundays, public holidays and during Christmas season. And you can order online: a minimum purchase of $100 is required with slots available as self-delivery is currently suspended.
Now with three branches, this Aussie-style butcher brings in its beef, veal, lamb and pork from Down Under and lays claim to offering the largest selection of gourmet sausages in Singapore. Plus, handmade from Australian meat and all-natural casings, of course. We suggest picking up the kebabs and wildly popular lamb and mint burger patties for your grill, or a barbecue pack starting from $100. One of the best butchers in Singapore!
