We’re big fans of Singapore’s indulgent Christmas brunches. But sometimes, it’s nice to entertain at home – especially since we’ve become so good at it, no thanks to Covid! Pandemic aside, the kids never want to leave all their new Christmas toys behind to head out to a restaurant. And with the lead-up to the big day being a flurry of Christmas gift shopping and taking the little ones to see Santa, you might be in the mood for a relaxed home affair anyway. Cue: a nice big Christmas turkey dinner!
Whatever your reason for an at-home Christmas, the key to planning a stress-free turkey dinner (especially when there are little people involved) comes down to one word: planning. But before you get cracking on all the Christmas food shopping and storming the supermarkets, read on for where to buy your turkey and all its trimmings for a fab family Christmas in Singapore. And let’s not forget the beef, goose, duck and ham too!
Where to buy a turkey in Singapore (+ all the Christmas trimmings!)
1. Sasha’s Fine Foods

This baby serves around five to six eaters. There’s also the Amaretto glazed turkey breast roulade, if you want something smaller.
5. Oh Deli
Kick off the festive season with crowd-pleasing quality meats from Oh Deli. Oh Deli offers next-day delivery, but you can order your roasts now! Their current Christmas selection consists of a gourmet French turkey that’s beautifully marinated and has cranberry and rosemary stuffing. Psst: they’re also selling their secret ingredient rosemary and garlic turkey gravy. And let’s not get started on the roast chicken that comes with various stuffings. Singapore Marriot Tang Plaza Hotel‘s rekindling the true spirit of Christmas with a kaleidoscope of hearty festive favourites and new creations! Head over to the hotel’s Festive Stall (open from 26 November to 25 December 2021) for treats like Guinness malt-beer whole roast turkey with sage and walnut stuffing, a slow-smoked beef striploin, a mustard mint roast lamb leg and a black truffle lobster thermidor.
7. Huber’s Butchery
For meats a cut above the rest, head to Huber’s Butchery. This Swiss-styled premium speciality store offers directly-imported meats and hams, plus sausages produced in-house. The place is a massive hit with Singapore families owing to its great playground and onsite restaurant in Dempsey. Why not order through the impressive Christmas specialist website and head down in person for a play and collect? The butchers have painstakingly prepped all the meats here. From Christmas turkeys, stuffing and chipolatas, to ducks and geese, hams, beef, veal, pork and venison too. Competitive pricing tops it off!
8. Marks & Spencer
Marks & Spencer is a firm favourite at HoneyKids HQ, and it’s a go-to for Christmas goodies. Alongside the essential mince pies, chocolate biscuits and Percy Pigs. You can enjoy the array of Christmas themed biscuit tins like all-butter chocolate chip shortbreads and pair them with some Christmas spiced tea to set the right mood in. Indulge in delish all-butter fruit cake with vine fruits and glazed cherries dubbed the “Christmas Cake” to finish off a hearty meal. If cake is a little too much to handle, try out the perfectly matured Christmas pudding.
9. Cold Storage
When it comes to finding the perfect turkey in Singapore, Cold Storage has come through with the goods. And even better, you can order your Christmas feast online! Carnivores, you might think all your Christmases have come at once. The turkeys here are pre-brined to make sure they’re juicy and tender. The Supreme Christmas Feast will sort you out. The Foodie Market Place is always a quality and wallet-friendly option, and offers some choice beef including Australian Wagyu Striploin as well as Australian lamb. You’ll also find imported US frozen turkey. If you’re thinking of serving up cheese platters for the guests before (and/or after – no judgement here) the big meal, the store offers a wide range of affordable, international cheese. 11. The Fishwives
For healthy, sustainable and fresh eats, you can’t go past fine food emporium The Fishwives. Order a free-range boneless or half Christmas ham on the bone for a stunning Christmas centrepiece. Or stock up on whole frozen French turkey (from $65) and an assortment of curds and jams. Orders can be made online, or visit the lovely bricks and mortar shop in Cluny Court to pick up gourmet chutneys, glazes and sauces to accompany your festive meal.
12. Da Paolo Gastronomia
Hit up epicurean fave Da Paolo for a fab at-home meal. Its Christmas selection includes deboned roasted free-range turkey, honey-baked ham, roasted vegetables and for dessert – get this – an edible wreath made with crispy cornflakes, almonds and pumpkin seeds coated in dark chocolate and cranberries. Simply add some bubbly and Christmas couldn’t be easier!
13. The Butcher
If you’d prefer to pick up all your Christmas meats in one swoop, head to The Butcher. You’re assured of top quality from this Aussie mob. From raw gammon boneless ham and premium smoked leg ham to whole turkeys, the store’s ample selection of meats will have your festive meal sorted in no time. 15. Shangri-La Singapore
This five-star hotel has prepared feasts fit for a family this festive season! Each feast can feed four persons and features a good turkey roast, sides, and desserts. Looking for something different? We recommend the Shang Palace Dim Sum Feast – a little Asian twist for this Yuletide. If you prefer just getting the basics, Shangri-La has honey roasted turkey, maple-glazed bone-in-ham, and beef wellington for your picking. Our favourite eatery The Marmalade Pantry has come out with its Christmas offerings and all we can say is: wow! Aside from the traditional roast and stuffing, there’s a slew of other meats that you can order for your at-home dining. How does char siew beef short ribs sound? Or, Moroccan roasted boneless lamb? If you’re looking for a full-course meal, there are three festive feasts to choose from.
17. Furama Singapore
Even if you’re planning to dine at home this Christmas, doesn’t mean you need to toil and sweat preparing for the festive meal. Enter Furama Singapore, with its smorgasbord of decadent meats that’ll surely leave you spoiled for choice. We’re talking herb-seasoned roast turkey, honey glazed pork ham, roasted duck with truffle sauce… There are some Asian-inspired Christmas meats too if you’re into a little fusion this year. Yums!
18. Swissbake
Artisanal bakery Swissbake has teamed up with premium butchery Zac’s Butchery to come up with a sumptuous Christmas menu that you can enjoy in the comforts of your home. From the traditional roasted turkey to Greek yoghurt roasted lamb, and even grain-fed Angus beef ribs, there’s definitely something for everyone. Don’t forget to add the sweet treats to your cart as well so that you can end off your feast on a sweet note!
19. Goodwood Park Hotel
While Christmas is all about tradition, how about spicing things up with creative interpretations of the good ol’ turkey? Goodwood Park Hotel has Asian-inspired renditions of the festive bird, which includes deep-fried turkey rolls in mala sauce, curry turkey pot pie, and even a caffeine-infused turkey with fried rice! Not keen on those? The traditional Christmas turkey with stuffing, giblet gravy and cranberry is still available.
20. Tablescape
