In fact, some these kid-friendly places are celebrating Xmas 2020 throughout the entire month of December (think kids clubs, Christmas activities and special deals on festive feasts!). CHRISTMAS BRUNCH, LUNCH & DINNER IN SINGAPORE
1. The Line at Shangri-La Hotel Singapore
We’re all over the The Line for its kid-friendly Christmas 2020 platters… and the fact that play-haven buds by Shangri-La is within walking distance of the restaurant (and it’s open on Christmas Day!). With scrummy cuisines from around the world, there’s no excuse for any member of the fam to go hungry here. Think festive a la-carte buffets featuring seafood on ice, fresh sashimi, delicious roasts and expertly prepared Asian and Western mains. And that’s before we even get to the desserts… hellooo Coffee Bailey’s Yule Log Cake!

2. Waterfall Ristorante Italiano at Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore
Alongside our fam fave, The Line, Shangri-La spoils us with another kid-pleaser this Christmas – the buffet brunch at Waterfall Ristorante Italiano! They’re offering an Italian extravaganza to celebrate the big day. Think seafood, cold cuts, and a cheese platter to start, before tucking into a wide selection of pasta (and that’s before we’ve even mention turkey!). Kids are well catered for too, with the yummy pizza selection, and of course Italian gelato for dessert!

3. Alley on 25 at Andaz Singapore
Heading out for Christmas lunch this year but can’t face dressing up? We’ve found the perfect solution at Alley on 25 in Andaz Singapore: their ugly sweater Christmas party! Don your ugliest festive attire and you’ll also be in with a chance to win dining vouchers for the “best” dressed! And that’s before we’ve mentioned the culinary delights on offer. With Christmas Set Platters of turkey breast, Beef Wellington, grilled tiger prawns and lamb chops, (as well as a whole array of starters and puds), you’ll want to make sure that jumper is extra roomy!

4. One-Ninety at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore
Get your bib in place, wear your stretchy pants and then get ready to feast – this Christmas Day semi-buffet spread is going to be wondrous! Start off your sesh with some shellfish, cured meats, salads and appetisers. Save room for the live carving stations: you’ll have turkey, wagyu beef, and smoked air-dried black forest ham to choose from, as well as hot mains and salads. Littlies in tow? They’ll go wild for the ice-cream booth and kaleidoscope of Christmas sweets and treats.

5. Marriott Cafe at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel

This year’s delish yuletide offerings are served via a three-course Christmas menu that both adults and kids will love. We’re talking irresistible seafood platter starters, terrine with slaw, and home-cured salmon. For mains, crowd pleasers include slow-roasted turkey with caramelised chestnuts and brussels sprouts, Iberico pork and a roasted US Angus striploin. Don’t forget to save space for dessert!

6. Hotel Fort Canning
Another great one for the kids, Hotel Fort Canning is pulling out all the stops for a fabulous family-friendly Christmas feast! You can expect a fab three course lunch or four course dinner with your choice of seafood or meat. We think the five-course Christmas Day dinner sounds pretty spesh, with seared foie gras for starters and a choice between sous vide trout and Wagyu beef short rib for entrees.

7. Capella Singapore
We can’t get enough of Sentosa with our kids at the best of times, but on Christmas Day? There’s only one place to be, and that’s at The Knolls at Capella Singapore. Over at The Knolls, you can enjoy an intimate and inviting set menu while overlooking its seafront setting – the kids are well catered to, as well. It’s not too late to make it a Christmas staycation, folks!

8. The Garage at Singapore Botanic Gardens

This year, The Garage at our fave Botanic Gardens is spoiling us with not one, but two options for a festive family feast. For a leisurely Christmas affair, and a seriously delicious sharing meat platter (we’re talking BBQ pork jowl, cajun chicken and kurobuta sausages!), the Bee’s Knees has it covered. Make sure you save room for the very scrummy Chocolate Log Cake too! Alternatively, head upstairs to the beautifully intimate Botanico and tuck into a five-course brunch or a six-course dinner. You won’t go hungry, with everything from Bacon Chestnut “latte” soup, to that all-important Turkey Roulade. Whichever option you pick, the kids will be happy. The Garage offers a fab kid’s set menu, complete with a Christmas cookie decorating pack – winner!

9. Ah Hoi’s Kitchen at JEN Singapore Tanglin by Shangri-La
For alfresco dining poolside this Christmas, check out the festive set menu on offer at Ah Hoi’s Kitchen. With a local twist on traditions (think wok-fried marinated chicken with chestnuts and brussel sprouts), it’s a great option for a Singaporean take on festive dining. Worried about the unpredictable weather? There’s also indoor seating complete with fairy lights to make it Christmas ready!

Get set for a Christmas Eve lunch and dinner, plus Christmas day brunch offering to give those tastebuds a jolly old time! Elevate your celebrations with your mini squad with your usual suspects: deliciously slow-roasted turkey, honey-glazed ham and fresh seafood catches – plus assorted caviar with blinis (ooh, fancy!), whole roasted tomahawk and a dazzling dessert showcase trolley. 11. Zafferano
Zafferano has a whole host of options for the festive season. If fine dining is your bag, then their Christmas Dinner is just the ticket. There’s even an early seating (5.30 – 7pm) if you’re taking junior gourmets along (note: diners must be over 8 years-old). Alternatively, go big at the Christmas Champagne Brunch which is filled to the brim with Italian classics and kid-approved options galore (Black Angus beef lasagne is our pick!).

12. LeVeL33
After a Christmas dinner with unbeatable views? Head to LeVeL33 for those Marina Bay panoramas – and that’s before we’ve talked food. With crispy skin pork belly, fried Brussel sprouts, and roasted duck fat potatoes on the menu, it’s fair to say you’re in for a treat. Kids can tuck into the Deluxe Mac & Cheese, or they can order anything off the a la carte menu too. Fussy eaters = no problem!

13. Edge at Pan Pacific Singapore

Relive classic Christmas memories at Pan Pacific Singapore with a yummy spread at award-winning Edge. The hearty holiday treats and succulent roasts include slow-cooked spiced beef brisket and honey-glazed gammon ham. Double the yum! Of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas without want-it-now treats for afters like Christmas stollen, minced fruit pies and Christmas pud too.

14. Porta at Park Hotel Clarke Quay
European-style bistro, Porta, at Park Hotel Clarke Quay is serving up a treat this Christmas with their four-course festive dinner. To start, you’ve got the choice between Butternut Pumpkin Soup or pan-seared Hokkaido Scallops – delish! Then there’s a tough call on mains with both turf and surf options available. The finale? A Chocolate Log Cake! Festive dining at its best.

15. Hilton Singapore
Fancy combining Orchard Road’s festive lights with your family feast this Christmas? Head on over to Hilton Singapore with some tempting choices for your family dinner. First up is the festive semi-buffet with optional free flow. Select your main from six mouth-watering choices, and then it’s unlimited rounds of a la carte dishes including a fresh seafood platter. Yes, please! And of course, the all-important desserts (we’re looking at you, yule logs). Or what about dining with a view? 24th floor Il Cielo offers a spectacular five-course menu with Italian and Japanese inspired dishes (and of course, those Christmas lights for the backdrop!)

16. Hotel G
We love Hotel G’s novel approach to Christmas decorations this year. They’ve teamed up with Singapore-based Band of Doodlers who are busy doodling (literally!) the hotel lobby for Christmas. Pop in and check out the masterpiece, and while you’re there, sample the delicious Christmas fare. Head to French bistro, Ginett Restaurant, and treat the fam to a hearty seasonal meat platter featuring turkey roulade and classic beef wellington (who can say no?!). Even better, it’s a steal at $89, with servings suitable for 3-4 people. Looking for a different take on Christmas traditions? We’re all over the festive edition of 25 Degrees’ mouth-watering burger – The Truffle-Marker. It’s available for the whole month of December, perfect for an early treat. 2020 has been quite a year, it’s allowed!

17. Goodwood Park Hotel
Another Christmas brunch buffet that’s on our list is L’Espresso and Gordon Grill at Goodwood Park Hotel. With over 65 menu items AND turkey and beef carvings, it’s fair to say you might well be looking like Santa Claus post-brunch. After a set menu? There’s one available throughout December. There’s even a festive afternoon tea! Better get booking…

18. Tablescape
Escape to Italy without leaving Singapore this Christmas, with a gourmet feast at Tablescape. There’s the perfect family-style lunch menu to tuck into with everything from assorted cold cuts and cheeses, to Italian staples of Burrata and Parmigiana Melanzane. And that’s before you’ve reached the mains. With roasted flat chicken BBQ, braised lamb shank and oven baked line caught fish, no one is going hungry!

19. Morganfield’s

Christmas is all about sharing, but it’s not always about the turkey. For a rib-tastic festive feast, get down to Morganfield’s, the home of Sticky Bones. The Morgan’s Christmas Feast delivers a tantalising platter of crackling pork roast, gammon ham, sausages, various veggies and the piece de resistance: two half slabs of ribs, with cranberry and hazelnut sticky glazes. We can personally attest to the yumminess of the orange marmalade glazed gammon ham and the whole roast beef ribeye on the menu, too! Tie your bib round your neck, roll your sleeves up and get stuck in. The kids will love it – plus, they eat free on public holidays, so extra yay!

For a festive feast on the beach, look no further than Sentosa joint Coastes. With beach vistas, oodles of laidback charm, plus a sumptuous sharing platter of festive delights, it’s high on our Christmas wish list.

21. Tanjong Beach Club
Another beachside hotspot offering Christmas lunch this year is the always-popular Tanjong Beach Club. Expect an afternoon of surf and turf with their Coast to Roast specials. There’s also an irresistible platter of decadent desserts. For the grown-ups it’s bottomless tipples, yay! It is Christmas after all…

22. Summerlong
When it comes to Robertson Quay and kid-friendly eateries, it’s fair to say we are spoilt for choice. One that’s always on our list is Summerlong for its super summery riverside vibe. They are offering a tantalising menu this Christmas with whole and half turkeys available. Marinated for 42 hours in orange juice and dried herbs, and served with a side of roasted potatoes: Delia, eat your heart out!

23. Privé Keppel Bay
Next door to our other favourite, Bayswater Kitchen, Privé Keppel Bay is a great choice when it comes to treating the fam this December. As well as offering their scrummy main menu, there’s also festive options of turkey breast roulade and lentil, pistachio and vegan sausage meatloaf. The best bit? Santa is coming to Keppel! Meet and Greet Father Christmas from 3-5pm and there’s even a little gift in store for the kids. Thanks, Santa!

24. Silver Shell Cafe at Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa
We were super excited to hear that Silver Shell Cafe at Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa is back open! Even better, it’s serving up a Christmas feast for the big day. There’s everything from the essential Slow Roasted Turkey, through to Dim Sum, and of course plenty of fresh seafood. Grab a table and take in that sea breeze this Christmas!
