2. Orchard Road Christmas light-up
Are you ready to see Orchard Road transform into a festive wonderland again this year during the Orchard Road Christmas Light-up? 3. Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay
The one thing that makes Christmas in Singapore complete? Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay, of course! We’re looking forward to this year’s event, which will feature the signature 20-metre Gothic-inspired structure of 100,000 light bulbs in the middle of Supertree Grove. Fancy some snow in the tropics? We hope that Christmas Wonderland brings back foam snow falling onto the crowds. Not to mention a Christmas market, carousel, choo-choo train rides, a Santa Claus meet and greet, and more!

4. Christmas train show at Gardens by the Bay
Got kiddos who love trains? Don’t miss the annual Christmas train show at Gardens by the Bay, featuring Singapore’s own MRT running through botanical models of railway stations from the American heartlands, some familiar local landscapes, as well as Santa’s official hometown in Rovaniemi, Finland!

5. Christmas Together by Sustainable Markets SG
Mark your calendars for the largest indoor Christmas festival of the year. We got word that you can look forward to 18 signature experiences, 50 jolly performances, and 80 hands-on workshops. As for us, we’re particularly looking forward to the seven-metre ParkLab play structure, Uncle Ringo rides, and (gasps) Pokemon card games. There’s plenty yummy goodies to try there as well, including treats from Burnt Ends Bakery, Meatsmith, Mr. Bucket Chocolaterie, and more.

6. Christmas Glowcean at Singapore Oceanarium
Christmas under the sea, anyone? Singapore Oceanarium is set to transform into a Christmas Glowcean, where you and the kiddos can discover the mysteries of the deep through its mascot, Manja’s, twinkling trail. Check out marine life sculptures by glass neon artist Megan Foo, watch the Santa and his elves take a dive, and soak in the festivities with live Christmas carolling in the deep blue.

7. A Universal Christmas at Universal Studios Singapore
One of the most exciting Christmas events on the island, if you ask us! Details are still being finalised, but what we do know is that there’ll be a 10m-tall confectionery Christmas tree, Sanrio’s Hello Kitty and Kuromi meet-and-greets, a new show called Universal Jingle Jam featuring characters from Trolls, Sesame Street, and the Minions. Keep an eye out for more deets.

Past Christmas events and activities for kids
Big Furry Festival for pets and pawrents
Take your furbabies along to the Big Furry Festival for a cosy, heartwarming Christmas experience! The 2025 edition featured a Christmas market that included pet brands, movie nights, a Christmas gift exchange to swap second-hand goods, and even a festive pet runway for the furkids to strut their stuff. There were also some activities that require you to sign up for and have a sign-up fee, like the Exploration Race and Masterclasses for Pets & People.
World Christmas Market Singapore at Marina Bay Sands
Last year’s World Christmas Market Singapore was huge! It featured nine different festive zones and spans across 20,000 sqm – that’s double the space. There were yummy festive delights, a festive marketplace to shop for Christmas presents, magical performances, and even the return of the popular Candy Cane Lane that features rows of glowing giant candy canes!
Kiztopia’s Great Christmas Village at Ngee Ann City and Shaw House
Kiztopia had two ongoing Christmas events last year – Ngee Ann City and Shaw House. The Great Christmas Village at Ngee Ann City had a ginormous bounce house, a ferris wheel, and tons of fun carnival games. The Great Christmas Village at Shaw House, however, had rides like the Rudolph’s Express and Jolly Cruisers, as well as claw machines and carnival games.
Changi Festive Village with Disney Cruise Line
Changi Festive Village returned to Changi Airport, this time with Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse. Both Disney stars invited families to come aboard for photo installations, topiary displays and special appearances by their friends from Disney Cruise Line! There’s also a Disney-themed carnival “Unleash the Holidays!” filled with fun and games. At Jewel, the 16-metre tall Christmas Tree and magical surprise at the Rain Vortex and the Canopy Park got us wanting more.
Christmas at the Stables
Have you heard of therapy horses? Last year, families had the chance to meet the herd of retired racehorses and charming miniature horses and enjoy a day filled with fun, festive activities at Christmas at the Stables. Kids got up close and personal with the horses, watched live music performances, and enjoyed fun activities like face-painting, engaging workshops, and fun games! It’s also more than just a celebration; it’s a chance to learn more about mental health and community well-being while also deepening bonds between humans and animals.
