Newton Show has a holiday camp lined up that’s sure to get your kids to stop dragging their feet into the new school term. Inspiring learning with a new super-fun science program for little scientists from three to 14 years of age, Newton Show has two different weekly programs. Kids will get to shoot for the stars at Astro camp and fly to the moon with their very own rocket launch. Here’s one for the teens, they’ll get to learn about genetic modification, 3D printing and augmented reality through workshops, lectures and experiments taught by industry and research experts at the Singapore International Science Camp. Students won’t just get to explore Singapore, they’ll get to visit university campuses, companies and laboratories to witness Singapore’s technology forefront. This is a great opportunity for future scientists to take their first step into science academia (maybe even meet their future prof!)

School’s out and tinkering’s in! If they’re going to be occupied with screens anyway, here’s how kids aged seven to 15 can make the virtual into reality. Budding engineers will use building kits such as littleBits and Strawbees as well as 3D printing to bring imagination to life.
