And just like that the doors are pinging open on the advent calendar in the official countdown to Christmas. And while Santa is super busy in the North Pole sorting our kids onto naughty and nice lists, we’ve got a fresh week ahead to fill with fun.
1. Be dazzled at Christmas Wonderland
One of our favourite spectacles of the festive season has kicked off over at Gardens by the Bay! Santa, twinkling lights galore, an Xmas market and a lineup of performances make this a very merry affair indeed. Christmas Wonderland, we love you!
2. Bring your minions to meet the Minions
Jump on a monorail to Sentosa and take the famalam to Universal Studio Singapore where a Universal Christmas has begun. Park hours are extended on selected nights so there’s even more hours to fill with light displays, new musical performances, fireworks and, of course, the Minions!
3. It’s not too late to get in a giving mood
Giving Week is still happening this week and it’s not too late to get involved with something fun with the kiddos for a good cause. Join play days, watch movies, catch some magic and hang out with furries: all for charity.
4. Twirl over to the ballet
For kiddos age four and up treat them to ballet magic ahead of Xmas by bringing them to the beautiful rendition of Sleeping Beauty happening at The Esplanade. Find out if love’s true kiss can awaken a whole kingdom from slumber in a visually stunning performance sure to spellbind the whole gang.
5. Get your Xmas party food game on
Get into the kitchen with your small chefs and start whipping up some fun snacks with a Christmas feel. We’re rather partial to a Santa strawberry, we must say.
