Besides Disney, Pokémon is another media mix franchise that everyone loves. The Japanese brand, an abbreviation of ‘Pocket Monsters’, was created in 1996. The franchise began as a video game before branching into other media. Fun fact – currently, there are over 900 Pokémon species. With so much Pokémon merch available, where does one start? 1. Pokémon GO City Safari is coming to Singapore!

Pokémon GO fans will be familiar with the game’s city safari events that encourage players to explore the city while catching some exclusive Pokémon and earn special rewards! On 29 and 30 March 2025, the Pokémon GO City Safari will be coming to our sunny shores so make sure you’re ready to head out. Whether you’re a resident or just visiting, you’ll be able to participate in the event by purchasing a virtual one-day or two-day ticket. There’s no right way to enjoy the event, take it at your own pace and catch ’em all!

2. Gotta catch ’em all! Visit Singapore’s Largest Pokémon Ga-Olé Station

Let’s go Pokémon! Fans will now have more avenues to train to be Pokémon Masters, as the third and largest Pokémon Ga-Olé Station has opened Suntec City. Don’t miss Singapore’s biggest snoozing Snorlax, standing at a towering 2 metres tall and 2-metre wide figure, and an irresistibly cute Pikachu. Snap unforgettable photos with these life-sized legends and capture the magic of the Pokémon world.

3. Themed activity sheets and Pokémon card with every Happy Meal

Happy Meals just got a lot happier with these collectible activity sheets and Pokémon cards! Depending on the day you head down, you’ll get a different design of activity sheet so make sure you pick the right day to snag your favourite Pokémon! They also come with four random Pokémon Cards – it’s a great way to start their collection early.

4. Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) vending machines in Singapore

You might have spotted one of these Pokémon TCG vending machines if you’ve walked around Jewel and Changi Airport – you don’t have to wait in line or visit an official store to get your card fix! These vending machines contain packs and booster boxes from old and new sets of cards so make sure to check them out if you ever pass by them.

7. Scoot’s Pokémon Air Adventures aircraft

Why catch a flight on a regular aeroplane when you can take off on the Pikachu Jet? In celebration of Scoot’s 10th anniversary, the carrier introduced the Pokémon Air Adventures, which features exclusive livery and themed in-flight experience.
