10 Things to do at the Wellness Festival Singapore 2023 with kids
This year the Wellness Festival Singapore (WFS) is focusing on three main pillars to promote holistic well-being -including fitness, emotional & mental wellness and lifestyle with tons of wellness-themed activities with the kids happening between 17 June to 9 July 2023.
1. Zentosa LiveWELL Festival
Island-hop to Sentosa for a unique line-up of curated activities and holistic experiences. Best part? Each of the activities takes a deep dive into well being. There’s plenty to keep the fam engaged, from Music by the beach @Southside to Therapeutic Forest Walk @Imbiah trail (Sentosa Nature Discovery). Mums and dads can even look forward to a Spin Out sesh, yoga and more. There’s something in store for everyone!

2. SAMily FUNDAY
If artsy-fun floats the fam’s boat, we suggest a visit to the Singapore Art Museum for tons of art-tastic fun. The fam can look forward to a lineup of programmes and activities designed for all age groups. Get creative with fun craft activities, pose for pictures, explore art exhibitions, and much more. SAMily FUNDAY is part of the National Arts Council’s partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board and other arts stakeholders and organisations to make arts x wellness programmes accessible to the public. This is also part of the National Arts Council’s efforts to build a connected and creative economy where the arts can be a source of respite from the rigour of the modern world today.

3. Move with Joy
If your pack is the sporty sort, we know just the wellness space you should hit up. The Move with Joy- Wellness Festival at Suntec City has plenty of indoor opps for the fam to explore. We are talking about 20-sports themed activities to choose from. Kids can opt for a fun tournament-style game of football, basketball or even baseball. If you have climbers in the pack, they can conquer new heights at the rock climbing arena. Besides these, there are also four masterclasses to sign up for. Joyful times ahead!

4. Immersive Rainforest Trail
Besides playing host to stunning gardens and parks, Singapore also has lush rainforests for a good outdoorsy exploration with the fam. Trot over to the heart of Sentosa for a rainforest deep-dive with the guidance of experienced facilitators. The kids will love discovering the island’s rich flora and fauna in a secondary and coastal rainforest. Binoculars and activity factsheets will be provided to all participants.

5. One Day Holistic Kids Camp
Fill the kids’ (5 – 12 years old) holiday itinerary with a 3-hour wellness experience that integrates creativity, wellness and happiness. The programme includes a combination of movement, mindfulness and art to keep the littlies therapeutically engaged. Through movement, the kids will learn to connect the body and mind with breathing techniques, the art of mindfulness guided by sound healing and storytelling, and also explore a theme through artful methods.

6. Animal Yoga
Nope, Animal Yoga does not involve animals doing yoga (although that does sound kinda cute). Animal Yoga (organised by Anytime Fitness Singapore) is about experiencing yoga in a unique setting like the Mandai River Wonders. Wow! The fam can choose to unleash their inner yogi from one of two stunning settings at the park. Did we mention the fam can also interact with the animals after a good sesh of yoga? Sounds like fun!

7. Family Art Therapy Workshop
Put your creative hats on and hit up the Family Art Therapy Workshop for a fun art-making sesh. Your Picasso bunch can look forward to creating family art together for a piece of bonding memory to take home. There is also a colourful sensory-based art activity in store for the ultimate artful deep-dive. Enjoy the art therapy sesh with the guidance of an art therapist from Art for Good.

8. Play and Recharge
Hop, skip and jump your way to Play and Recharge, courtesy of Kiztopia. A fam-fave name amongst families in Singapore! There’s something in store for everyone, including cookie painting for the creative lot, a Zumba workout session for those who love to break into a sweat, and even a short yoga practice sesh for those who like all things zen.
