Tots as young as 18 months old are welcome to its Mini Movers class before progressing to specialised classes for older age groups. Kids will be in good hands as they’ll be learning from instructors with both stage and teaching experience. 2. Singapore Chinese Dance Theatre

Interested in learning one of Singapore’s cultural dances? Then, sign up for lessons at the Singapore Chinese Dance Theatre, which aims to promote Chinese dance to the masses. Parents and their kiddos at age three can partake in the parent-child class, with simple and fun-themed activities that’ll ignite imaginations and creativity. Those between four and six can join the First Step classes, where they can learn the basics of Chinese dance. From there, your tiny dancer can move on to the class that they want to excel in. There’s even a class that combines both Chinese dance and kung-fu!

If you are based in Sentosa and you have a little twinkle toes in your midst, then you have probably already met the lovely Katie Van Camp, who runs the KT Creative Studio. Situated between Pasir Panjang and Labrador Park MRT, Evolve Arts is a great option for kids in this neck of the woods (although families come far and wide to try out the classes here!). Littlies aged two to four can sign up for ballet. We can vouch for this one, and our mini-reporter would love to attend every day if she could.
