Treat the family to a year’s worth of fun at some of Singapore’s favourite attractions, from the National Gallery to Singapore Zoo, Universal Studios and more...
If you are looking for some serious fun for the whole family and fancy saving money at the same time, then the yearly membership options at some of Singapore’s bucket list attractions are the way to go. Aside from being a great way to entertain the kids, the membership perks are not to be sneezed at: VIP entrance, free extras, first dibs on events and prepaid entrance fees are just the tip of the iceberg! From Universal Studios to Singapore Zoo, Gardens by the Bay to all the cool exhibitions at Singapore Science Centre and beyond, we’ve picked out the cream of the crop of annual memberships in Singapore so that you can start planning a whole year of adventures for 2019…
National Gallery Singapore
If you have some budding artists in the family, or even if you just love looking at fabulous art yourself, then the National Gallery is well worth an annual membership from just $30 per person (and the littlies six and under are free!). There is easily a year’s worth and more of amazing stuff to see and do here, and kids will absolutely love the Keppel Centre for Art Education (which is proving a massive hit for HoneyKids’ junior reporters right now). Here the kiddos will happily spend a whole afternoon hanging out at the Art Corridor discovering shapes and forms inspired by Han Sai Por’s sculpture Tetrahedron-tetrahedron Interpenetration (try saying that after a glass of wine!), exploring the Project Gallery and its huge soft sculptures, giant rocks and a shimmering display of colours, and whipping up a creative storm at The Children’s Museum designing virtual ceramic pots at the interactive station. Membership perks include 10-15% off shopping and dining outlets (helloooo, Gallery & Co!) and free entry to all existing and new exhibitions, plus invitations to members-only events.
National Gallery annual membership from $30 per adult
RWS Universal Studios Singapore
For kids (and adults) who never tire of Elmo and his friends, Universal Studios Singapore is where it’s all at for thrills, spills and rides galore. With its seven zones, action-packed shows and street performances, Universal Studios Singapore has more than enough going on to warrant a year’s worth of visits! Membership gives you discounts on your pit stops at F&B and retail outlets, as well as special offers on VIP tours, your own special VIP turnstile at the entrance gates, sneak previews of new rides and attractions plus $5 off stroller rental for when the little legs get tired.
RWS Universal Studios annual membership from $198 per adult and $168 per child (4-12 years)
We challenge you all to find a more relaxing spot on the Island than sitting mesmerised in front of the gigantic Open Ocean tank at S.E.A Aquarium. A year’s worth of that view is definitely a solid investment! Member privileges also include priority entrance (including your own special red velvet rope to make you feel special), complimentary access to the Typhoon Theatre, discounts on Ocean Dreams (Singapore’s coolest sleep-over venue!) and the VIP Tours, plus one free ice cream from the S.E.A-side Snacks per visit.
S.E.A Aquarium annual family membership from $272
If water-coasters are your family’s thing, and if you fancy cooling off on a regular basis, then Adventure Cove is a sure-fire hit for all. The Lazy River alone is worth buying an annual membership for! Extra bonus inclusions with your yearly pass include a priority queue, access to Riptide Lounge along with complimentary refreshments, full-day cabana hire at half-day rates, plus that all-important free ice cream per child at three locations across Sentosa.

Other membership perks include unlimited free use of the tram (weekdays only) for when you just can’t walk another step, free parking and 20% off all the F&B outlets around the Zoo.

Singapore River Safari
We love the River Safari, and what’s not to love about its famous resident pandas? The Safari is home to not only giant pandas Kai-Kai and Jia-Jia, but they also share their forest sanctuary (and their bamboo) with some super-cute red pandas too. And don’t forget to board the cool boating expedition where you get to sail the waters of the Amazon River (without having to fly across the world first!).

Gardens by the Bay
Membership for a year’s fun at Gardens by the Bay will mean you get to check out the ever-changing Flower Dome throughout its seasons and festivals. It also means that when the kids have exhausted themselves scootering around the lush gardens, you can head indoors to the cool conservatory for a rainforest respite! Membership also gives you free access to the OCBC Skyway, free parking and discounted prices on the audio tour rates.

As well as unlimited entry for the year, family membership will also include free admission to more than 290 science museums worldwide and discounts on other attractions such as Snow City and the Omni-Theatre. Don’t miss current all-out-cool exhibitions including fully interactive pretty as a picture Butterflies Up Close and mind-boggling The Mind’s Eye and Professor Crackitt’s Light Fantastic. And, we hear there are more awesome exhibitions coming up this year. Bring out the inner-Einstein in the whole family!

Wild Wild Wet
For folks on the east side of the isle, Wild Wild Wet is a water adventure land in Pasir Ris that is sure to provide tons of soggy fun for the whole family. And it’s bigger, splashier and more fun than ever. The Uluru and Royal Flush rides are our top tip for a huge family laugh, while braver family members will get plenty of thrills on Free Fall. Your yearly ticket will bag you admission into the park, special rates on Cabana rental and lots of member-only perks. We say make a staycation of it: Wild Wild Wet is integrated with the rather wonderful D’Resort (where we’ve spent many a happy family weekend).
