About Syazana Hishamuddin
Editor, HoneyKids Asia
Syazana Hishamuddin is a true blue Singaporean (and north-side dweller) with a background in digital marketing and fashion design. Before landing at the Honeycombers beehive, Syaz’s editorial and social media skills were instrumental in the growth of another successful Singapore-based parenting platform for over seven years. Prior to that, Syaz was on the team of a boutique-sized fashion distribution company handling their e-commerce platform and experimenting with the early editions of email newsletters and social media. Her past branded content work spans lifestyle brands including Aveeno, Style Theory, OWNDAYS, Citibank, Kris+, Income, FWD, CALECIM, STRIP, ŠKODA and Singapore's top preschools and international schools.
She currently leads the HoneyKids team in providing readers in Singapore engaging parenting content through the website, Instagram and Facebook channels. This includes compelling parenting profiles, spotlighting everyday parents and individuals in Singapore with fascinating stories. This millennial mom to two toddlers is always looking for fun, affordable things to do in Singapore and beyond – bonus if it's free, surrounded by nature and easy to get to! Syaz also has a huge passion for secondhand shopping and all things vintage after spending her formative years thrifting for fashionable hidden gems during her design school days.
