So to save those sad faces, we’ve got all the ideas for easy ways to swap the usual eggs and replace them with allergy-friendly treats or gifts so everyone can have an eggcellent time this Easter!
As always, please double-check labels and ingredients lists when you are purchasing gluten-free or allergy-friendly products

2. Warm and toasty gluten-free hot cross buns

What is Easter without a hot cross bun? There are several bakeries with allergy-friendly Easter buns across the island, including a vegan version at Baker and Cook, but our favourites this year have to be the gluten, dairy and nut-free traditional spiced Easter hot cross buns with cinnamon and nutmeg from The Whole Kitchen.
Allergy-friendly hot cross buns can be found at The Whole Kitchen and Baker and Cook. Keep an eye on Marks and Spencer too!
3. Tasty gluten-free cookies

We love these chocolate and raisin cookies from Thai brand, Apple Monkey. Wrap a couple together in cute Easter-themed wrappers or reusable sandwich bags, and replace chocolate eggs with these cookie bundles on the Easter hunt!
Available at Fairprice and Redmart
