Meet Santa Claus
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a photo with the man in red, so be sure to check out our article of where you can head to for a snapshot with Santa.
Who doesn’t love Gardens by the Bay? Whether it’s the super-cool Supertrees, wonderful wet play area or fabulous florals, this is one Singapore hotspot that always delivers the goods. And Christmas is no exception! Christmas Wonderland returns for its sixth edition with new highlights that’ll excite visitors of all ages. Expect a brand new interactive Santa’s Workshop, a parade, stunning light installations, theatrical performances, a festive market and loads of noms. Happening until 26 December 2019, its sixth edition will see Gardens by the Bay come alive with beautiful illuminations and exciting activities that are guaranteed to put a happy spell on visitors.

Peter Pan in Serangoon Gardens
Fancy a bit of panto action? Book your tickets, sprinkle on your pixie dust and head for the second star on the right and straight on until morning… it’s time for Peter Pan! This time the classic tale gets a taste of Singaporean flavour. With all the pressures of school and growing up in Singapore, Wendy and her brothers would rather be anywhere else than their stuffy bedroom in Serangoon Gardens. Pororo Park Singapore’s Winter Wonderland
Celebrate the Christmas season by taking the kids to what they love best… indoor play! And over at Pororo Park, the festivities are fun, fun, fun. On select days this month, the one and only Santa Pororo will be making twice-daily appearances to hand out presents from his stash of goodies – make sure you’re around at either 12.30pm or 4.30pm to meet the penguin pal himself! There is also a themed bubble party, Christmas shows and a DIY ornament class to enjoy. We gave this one a go ourselves and the kids were SOLD – we were hard-pressed to drag them away!

Season of Giving at Tayo Station
It’s full steam ahead over at Tayo Station this Christmas! If you’re there at the weekend between now and the big day, be sure to stand in line to receive a present from none other than Santa Tayo. As if that wasn’t enough, there’s also bubble party fun to get amongst. Yas.

Christmas Kandy Land at KidZania
Our junior reporters can’t get enough of this place – and even better when there are fun festivities going on! This year, head over to Christmas Kandy Land and swing by Santa’s interactive Candy House to catch a glimpse of Santa and his elves, listen to enchanting Christmas Tales, join in the Snowfall Party and enjoy some Christmas crafts. After all the celebrating, kids can also learn how to give back to those in need by gifting at the Gift Donation and Wrapping Station.

A Frozen Wonderland at Changi Airport
A fabulously festive event for all you Disney fans is happening over at Changi Airport from now until 5 January, so you’ve got plenty of time to head down there and take in the magic. And surprisingly, Changi with kids makes for a great day out… even when you aren’t jetting off somewhere on your Christmas holidays! Start your celebration off this silly season by heading over to Changi Airport’s A Frozen Wonderland for Frozen-themed activities for the whole family… and don’t forget to snap a picture with a three-metre tall Olaf and give Anna and Elsa a squeeze at a meet-and-greet session!

Sparkling Wonders of Christmas at Jewel
How about celebrating Christmas for the first time ever at Jewel? After doing a spot of Christmas shopping, ring in the festivities with endless fun-filled activities, such as the Snow Walk and Snowfall Spectacular, plus take in the festive market and whopper of a Christmas tree (it’s 16 metres tall!)!

Hatchlings of Joy at Suntec City
Need to do Christmas shopping? Need to keep the kids happy too? Then fly on over to Suntec City to meet Red and the Hatchlings from Angry Birds! There are tons of exciting activities your kids will love, plus exclusive Angry Birds merch to redeem and lots of family photo opportunities. You can also enrol your kids in the uber-fun Hatchlings Academy for some hands-on, creative fun. On select dates, there’ll also be a parade and live show – so flap your wings with glee and head on down!

Festive specials at buds by Shangri-La
Usher in the season with some crafting and creative fun over at buds by Shangri-La. Over at Muddy, mini artists can personalise their own tote bags, while twinkle-toed tots can hotfoot it down to the Stage Room for Christmas Jigglybuds, where they can jingle away to classic Christmas hits. A Universal Christmas

Now us parents can lark about with our littlies in the snow… without having to jet off on holiday! That’s right: all you need to do is head to Plaza Singapura, where you can enjoy a two-storey high snow chamber with sub-zero temperatures, falling snow and meet-and-greet Santa sessions while you’re at it.
The Nutcracker drama workshop
If there’s one stage show that sums up Christmas for us, it’s The Nutcracker. Which is why we’re pretty excited that the ACT 3 Drama Academy is running a holiday workshop that’s inspired by the gorgeous fairytale. Ideal for littlies aged from seven months all the way up to 15 years, this specially written stage adaption of the tale provides numerous opportunities for children to explore, discover and be expressive on stage.

Bounce-a-saurus Fiesta at VivoCity
Got a dino-mad kid at home? Then they’ll have a roaring good time this Christmas at VivoCity’s first-ever, large-scale inflatable event! Join the adorable and playful dinosaurs at the outdoor Plaza for a holly jolly good time and bounce your way into the festivities. Slide down a thrilling five-metre tall wet slide, make your way through various play zones and obstacle courses, and stand to win attractive prizes when you show off your skills at the game booths.

A Very Merry Minions Christmas Party
We don’t know about your lil’ tykes, but our kids go all kinds of bananas for the Minions. This holiday season, they’ll be glad to know that the Minions will be hanging out at Frasers Property malls on selected weekends until 24 December. Activities include a Tic Tac Toe game, ball pit, and an ice fishing game. Ba-na-naaa!

Christmas fun at Great World City
Not going anywhere this season? No worries – Great World City will keep you all entertained! There’ll be a Christmas market featuring handmade gifts by the Down Syndrome Association Singapore, gorgeous stationery, festive hampers and quirky presents galore. Not only that, but there’s a full-on carousel for the kids and the vocal talents of National University Singapore’s Sheares Hall Acapella to help you get into the festive mood.

Festive fun along Orchard Road
Get into holiday mode on Orchard Road, which is chock full of Christmassy fun and treats this year. Pose for picture-perfect moments before stepping into The Great Christmas Village, which is filled with thrilling rides, tasty treats and captivating performances. And, if you’re stumped over what to get the kids for Christmas this year, why not let them pick out their favourites at Mini Toybox at the Great Christmas Village? There are tons of options to choose from, and the kiddos will certainly have a ball of a time – don’t miss the candy cane slide, too!

Christmas Fair and events at Science Centre Singapore
Are you ready for a sci-sensational Christmas? Then head on up to the Science Centre Singapore for a festive line-up of fun and learning with a Christmas twist. Running for three consecutive weekends between now and the big day, the Christmas fair promises family-friendly hands-on activities, festive food and drinks… and lots of shopping, from potted plants to woven quilts and even wine. There’s also the once-in-a-lifetime annular solar eclipse to catch on Boxing Day in the Ecogarden, and an interactive adventure workshop with some fun and quirky elves.
