Made for children by children, Children's Season 2025 is back to inspire young minds and instil a sense of belonging to home, community, and country.
Play is so important for a child’s development and well-being. And it’s wonderful that we have facilities like water parks, nature parks, and even playgrounds peppered around the island for free play. But this June holidays, we’ll be hitting the museums. Because Children’s Season 2025 is back with an exciting lineup of free and ticketed activities held at the Children’s Museum Singapore (CMSG) and more.
The annual event, co-presented by the Children’s Museum Singapore and the Museum Roundtable, is designed to inspire the exploration of culture, heritage, and learning through fun and educational experiences. And who’s designing it, you ask? Well, THE KIDS! This year’s lineup of signature programmes were co-created by CMSG and the students from Lianhua Primary School, together with Playeum. Based on a the criterion of humour, teamwork, and creativity, the panel of children selected from programmes they were pitched to. Later, they worked with the artists by sharing their ideas and feedback. They sure had a hand in shaping the programmes – curated by kids, for kids.

Big kids or small kids, we are just as excited about Children’s Season 2025. There will be four site-specific programmes, and the return of the ever popular Stamp Booklet activity. Find more free and ticketed activities at CMSG, presented by other partner museums. Here’s all you need to know about what’s happening, where and when to go. Tip: Since it’s a month-long festival, you’ll want to bookmark this page to plan ahead for the June school holidays.
