About Andrina Loo
Lifestyle Writer
Parent, pawrent, and Lifestyle Writer, Andrina writes about all things fun, yummy, and buzz-worthy at HoneyKids Asia. She is driven by life’s little joys, whether it’s finding that perfect cuppa or planning the next family adventure, or even putting her waistline at risk to share only value-added calories with readers.
After finishing her degree with majors in Sociology and Japanese Studies, She started her career in Marketing but it was her love for all things fun that led her to running Singapore’s first chocolate printing facility. Taking a deep dive into entrepreneurship, she started a marketing events company which provided below-the-line solutions to FMCG clients like Weider, Brands, Super, and Diageo. Parenthood inspired her to Play Therapy, where she helped children navigate social and emotional challenges through play. During this time, she also wrote and self-published a therapeutic storybook.
A mid-life transition to lifestyle writing allowed her natural curiosity and love for storytelling to fuel the coverage of food & drinks, travel, culture, events, and wellness. In her writing journey, she has written for brands like Intellect, UOB’s Travel and Dining Advisor, AirCalin, as well as a couple of enrichment schools.

At Stamford American’s Early Years, learning does not begin with a worksheet. It begins with a question, a pair of hands, and a teacher close enough to follow wherever a child’s curiosity leads.
This is also where a second language takes root. Our daily Chinese Language Arts lesson sits on top of the standard 40-minute Mandarin class, so children grow up reading the world in more than one script.
Our Creative Curriculum is brought to life through the IB Primary Years Programme, a language specialist from 18 months, a Suzuki-trained music teacher, specialist Art and PE twice a week, and an eight-week swimming unit each year.
None of it is rushed. At this age, curiosity is not taught. It is protected, until it becomes the way a child meets everything next.
Come see where it starts. For a world full of beginnings.
