Star Island Singapore Countdown Edition
How about celebrating New Year’s Eve in Singapore with an unforgettable fireworks display? Star Island Singapore is featuring a whole new futuristic firework display hanabi – a pyro-technicoloured musical extraordinaire with lights, 500 drones completely synchronised with the fireworks, 3D sound technology and live performances. Start the celebrations off early with fun pre-show activities and if you’ve left the kids home with the sitter, stick around for the after-party to dance into the new year.

Grab a spot around the Marina Bay area and join hundreds of other families gathered to watch the fireworks and revel in the New Year’s Eve party atmosphere. The Uncle Ringo Carnival will be in town with carnival rides and games and plenty of F&B for a truly delightful gastronomical experience. Entry is free; ride tickets and game coupons can be purchased on-site. Marina Bay pulls out all the stops to end the year with a huge bang, so make sure you come early to bag yourself a prime patch.

Bollywood Countdown 2019
Say goodbye to 2019 and welcome 2020 with family and friends, Bollywood style! Feast on delicious Indian fare and shimmy your way over to the Bollywood Countdown Party, where DJ Kevin will spin all the toe-tapping tunes at this kid-friendly New Year’s eve party. Fireworks can be oohed and ahhed over from the gallery overlooking the Singapore Flyer. Dress in your Bollywood finest for a chance to win great prizes for the snazziest outfits. We hear there will also be family-friendly games.

The Philharmonic Orchestra presents New Year’s Eve Countdown Concert 2020
There’s something to be said for a quiet night of beautifully orchestrated music in a glitzy concert hall. Get the family dressed in their finest threads and celebrate New Year’s Eve with kids with an evening of classical tunes by the Philharmonic Orchestra. Led by music maestros Lin Juan and Edward Tan, it’s set to be a delightful, calm evening in good company: the complimentary glass of bubbly on Empress Lawn for the fireworks for the grown-ups doesn’t hurt either!

Universal Studios Singapore Countdown to 2020
Singapore’s best theme park extends its hours until 12am for families this New Year’s Eve for a one-in-a-minion fun-packed family night. Rollercoaster your way into 2020 and expect live performances, dazzling pyrotechnics, street performances galore and the largest snowfall EVER.

Esplanade New Year’s Eve Countdown
Lovers of live music, strap on your dancing shoes and head to the Esplanade for a night of smooth tunes, feisty beats and non-stop high energy. Bop along to toe-tapping tunes by local artists like Hillary Francis, Joe & The Soul Express and MOTUS as they ring in the new year with celebrity host Timothy Nga. The event is not only family-friendly, it’s free too! Yay!

Locoland 2020: early New Year Kids fiesta
For kids (and adults) who need their beauty sleep, head to Locoland, where midnight happens at 9pm! Dine on quesadillas, tacos and nachos while the kiddos get into face-painting, a screening of their fave movie, and arts and crafts. When the clock strikes 9pm, you and the kiddos can ring in the new year with sparklers and piñata bashing. Plenty of tipple and none of the tantrums, olé!

Feast and fireworks on the hilltop at Faber Peak
Ring in the new year at Faber Peak, Singapore’s only hilltop destination. The Singapore Cable Car will be extending its operating hours until 1.30am on the 31 December, so it’s smooth sailing when the revelry is done.
