Whether you're shopping for a double pram, lightweight pushchair or compact stroller, take the tots around town with our essential guide to baby prams in Singapore
Stroller, pram, buggy or pushchair, no matter how we say it, finding the right set of wheels for our Singapore baby is essential. Baby wearing is another great option for Singapore, but backs do ache! Strollers are a big investment and the options can be overwhelming, so here’s our guide to the best buys on the island. When zipping around Singapore, consider the most important criteria for your family’s lifestyle. Will you be hopping on and off buses and trains? Are you a jet-setter? Do you walk everywhere or are taxis your main mode of transport (learn more about keeping your child safe in a taxi here)? Which stroller brands are the best, and where does one even buy strollers in Singapore? We’ve broken our research down, so read on to see which stroller is best for you!
The best strollers and baby prams for Singapore living
1. Bugaboo Butterfly

BEST FOR URBAN TRAVEL
We were lucky enough to take this for a test drive, and we liked it so much we decided to own it! Compact and stylish, this a great mall-stroller. One hand fold means it is super easy to collapse and get in and out of taxis and buses, and the narrow frame can fit down the narrowest of aisles. This is a sturdy travel stroller too. Essentially, the Butterfly is Bugaboo’s answer to the Stokke Yoyo. While it can be a little wobbly on footpaths, being so easy to handle one-handed for both opening and closing scores it all the points for our busy Singapore lifestyle!
Buy: Motherswork, $639
2. Stokke Yoyo3

SUPER COMPACT TRAVEL STROLLER, IDEAL FOR CITY LIFE
Easy-peasy, compact pram. Another stellar super-light pram we’ve got our eyes on is the Stokke Yoyo3 (previously Babyzen Yoyo). Weighing 6.2kg and measuring 52 x 44 x 18 cm when folded, it’s small enough to fit snugly into an overhead cabin locker. Thanks to its reclining function or additional bassinet, it’s suitable for use from birth. It’s also machine-washable for the inevitable baby and toddler spills. We love that this pram comes with options for a bassinet attachment and car seat adaptors. And if you’re growing your family, just purchase the compatible buggy board for your toddler! The only downside to the Stokke Yoyo3 is that the frame and seat are sold separately.
How does it compare to the Stokke Yoyo²? The only differences we could find are cosmetic. A slightly longer handle bar, reflective wheels, improved shock absorbers and a slightly longer sun canopy. Nothing groundbreaking.
Buy: Motherswork, from $727
3. UPPABaby Vista V3

BEST FOR A GROWING FAMILY WITH MULTIPLE KIDS
If you’re a new parent or you’re prepping for baby number 2, or 3, then this is the pram for you. The UPPAbaby Vista V3 stroller is intuitively designed to ‘grow’ with your family, transforming from a single pram to a multi-kid stroller. This pram can accommodate up to three children with added accessories and adapters — becoming the ultimate in portability and convenience. We love the huge basket underneath, the height and handlebar adjustments (great for taller adults to push!) and the sturdy handling.
Buy: Motherswork, $1,699
4. Nuna TRVL Lx

ONE-HAND FOLD, LIGHTWEIGHT TRAVEL STROLLER
Nuna does amazing strollers and the Nuna TRVL Lx is one of its most well-loved models. Best known for its compact size, one-hand fold and easy recline, this travel stroller is a favourite among Nuna fans since it came out around 2021. It’s really lightweight at just 7kg, is suitable from birth to 22kg and doesn’t need adapters for its compatible car seat. It comes in a range of chic colours so if you value both aesthetics and comfort, this ticks all boxes. They’ve even got a swanky BMW version of this – read our full review on the Nuna x BMW TRVL Lx here! Need a double stroller? We’re also geeking out over their latest expansion to the lineup – the Nuna Trvl Double.

5. Keenz Lebere S Trike Stroller

BEST FOR VERSATILITY, CONVERTING INTO A HIGH CHAIR AND CARRYING KIDS UP TO 7 YEARS OLD
Not only is this unique looking stroller suitable for kids up to 25kg (7 years old!), but it transforms from newborn friendly to a highchair so it’s super versatile. This has to be one of the best strollers for toddlers! Keenz are also really well-known for their wagon strollers, so if you have multiple kids and gear you want to load up into one vehicle, a Keenz Wagon could be a great choice for your family.
Buy: Keenz, $563
6. Bugaboo Dragonfly

BEST ALL-ROUNDER: BIGGER BASKET, COMPACT STORAGE, ONE-HAND-FOLD
There’s so much that we love about the Bugaboo Dragonfly! The latest from the Bugaboo range ticks all the boxes for Singapore living, while resolving some of the long standing requests from parents on requirements for a ‘perfect’ stroller. With a much larger storage basket (hooray!), Bugaboo’s clever one-handed-fold manoeuvrability, and folding into a clever compact storage solution, the innovation of the Dragonfly is ‘a game-changer for city dwelling families, where space is a luxury and compact convenience, that doesn’t compromise on comfort, is a must.’
Buy: Motherswork, $639
7. UPPABaby CRUZ V2

BEST FOR ALL TERRAIN AND ADAPTABILITY
The UPPAbaby CRUZ V2 is a nifty city stroller designed with a narrow frame to manoeuvre through doorways, small aisles or footpaths with ease. Suitable from birth when used with UPPAbaby Infant Snug Seat or UPPAbaby Bassinet V2 accessories (sold separately), the CRUZ stroller features shock-absorbing, puncture-proof wheels (woo hoo!) for a smooth ride for baby while the adjustable leather handle and large basket are big winners for parents.
Offering multiple configurations, the CRUZ stroller seat is reversible so bub can ride facing you and move to forward-facing as they grow. It’s also travel system ready with car seats from leading brands (additional accessory UPPAbaby Infant Car Seat Adapter required). This is Elise from Pramfox’s pick of the strollers, and we trust her judgement!
Buy: Pramfox, $1,099
8. Joolz aer+

LIGHTWEIGHT, EASY TO FOLD, COMFORTABLE
The award winning Joolz Aer+ is the go-to buggy for the on-the-go families. Lightweight, easy-to-fold and incredibly comfortable. This is mama mogul Sharon Wong of Motherswork fame’s pick of the strollers, so it has to be great! While we don’t usually carry our strollers on our shoulders, the fact that you can seems like a good thing?
Buy: Motherswork, $679
9. Nuna Mixx Next

COMPACT FOLD, STYLISH AND DUAL FACING
A favourite brand of celebrities, if you are willing to blow to doors off your budget then take a look at the Nuna Mixx Next. On the move, it’s a smooth ride you can manoeuvre with one hand and lay flat for newborn comfort. Packed away, its compact fold lets it fit into tighter spaces which is great for saving space in Singapore! Coming in a range of colours with a water resistant canopy, this is a stylish stroller that will impress even the most serious fashionista.
Buy: Mothercare, $1,099
10. Stokke Xplory 6
RAISES BABY HIGHER FOR EYE CONTACT AND CONNECTION
This awesomely stylish stroller is suitable from newborn (with optional carrycot) through to 15kg toddler, and is compatible with car seat options. Forward and rear-facing, this pram elevates the kiddo, eyeball-to-eyeball, with ma ‘n pa’s loving gaze. It’s easy to manoeuvre, and relatively easy (but not the easiest!) to fold and stow. Read our past review of this stroller here!
Buy: Pramfox, $2,191.20
11. Bugaboo Donkey 5

STURDY AND CONVERTIBLE, DOUBLE SIDE-BY-SIDE STROLLER
Designed specifically to grow with the family, the Bugaboo Donkey transforms – in just three simple clicks – from a mono to a duo stroller. And back again. This means you can use it for one kid, two kids of different ages, or twins. It also has a sturdy set of wheels that can handle pretty much anything. This versatile ride converts easily from a side-by-side double to a single stroller, so you can use it even when you’re bringing out just one kid. The Bugaboo Donkey 5 doesn’t just grow with your kids, but it also offers plenty of luggage space for your diaper bag, grocery bags or even stuffed toys. It is a little on the bulky side, so keep that in mind!
Buy: Motherswork, $2,369
12. Doona Infant Car Seat Stroller

CAR SEAT ON WHEELS
This is essentially a car seat on wheels and is perfect for taking your baby to play dates and malls. It is suitable for babies just beyond infancy age up to approximately 15kg – so it’s the best stroller for newborns, but your little one may not get much mileage from this once they’re too big. Slightly on the heavier side, the wheels of the Doona stay fixed and fold up for use inside cars. The whole unit is also quite low, which would suit you if you’re not too tall.
Buy: Pupsik Studio, $589
13. Cybex Coya

LIGHTWEIGHT AND FASHIONABLE TRAVEL STROLLER
Created for fashionable parents, the Coya by Cybex is an ultra-compact pram combining beautiful design (we love the rose gold touches!) with first-class functionality. Notable highlights are that it is foldable within seconds, lightweight, and can travel on a plane as hand luggage. Ready from birth, the Cybex Coya features an ergonomic lie-flat recline, an integrated leg rest, and a snug one-pull harness. It is also travel-system ready, helping you switch from drive to stroll with ease. Suitable from newborn to 22kg / 4 years.
Buy: Mothercare, $899
