The new school year is approaching for international schools, so explore some new schools at their open days and tours
Many schools are on track to reopen for the new academic year this August. If you’re a newbie to the little red dot and on the hunt for which school would be the right fit for your child and family, check out some open days, school tours and more happening this month. HoneyKids Asia International School Fair, in partnership with HSBC
Save the date, parents! HoneyKids Asia International School Fair with HSBC is back, and it’s bigger and better than ever. There’ll be more than 20 Singapore international schools (including pre-schools), international schools from around Asia and even universities and education consultants there to answer all your questions, plus panel talks with experts. AIS Free Playgroup at the Early Learning Village
Australian International School has its last free Playgroup session this August. Head over to the Early Learning Village at the campus with your tot and take part in a host of fun-filled activities, including games, crafts, songs and dancing. If you’re interested, take a tour of the Infant Care and Early Years facilities while you’re there. The free playgroup is suitable for children aged one to five years old. Registration is FREE, but places are limited so book your place early.

Hillside World Academy Open Day
Interested in enrolling your tiny tykes at Hillside World Academy? Head over to one of their open days this month and learn more about its admissions process, school life and curricula. The school prides itself on offering two languages – Mandarin and English – and you’ll hear both languages being spoken throughout.

AIS Open House
Considering a school for your munchkin? What about your elementary and secondary-aged kids? Check out the open house tours at Australian International School: 5 and 22 August for Early Years (for kids aged two months to five years), and 6 and 21 August for Elementary and Secondary tours (for children aged six to 18). You’ll learn about how AIS’s values define its unique approach to learning and get a full tour of the campus.

Singapore American School’s term starts back on 13 August, which means it’s once again open for tours – after all, it’s much better to check out the campus when school is in session to get a real feel of the experience. School Tours are on Tuesdays and Thursdays for preschool to grade school (ages three to 10). Schools Tours are on Wednesdays for grades 6 through 12 (ages 11 to 17).

GEMS World Academy (Singapore) Open House
