Here are some our team's and our Launchpad entrepreneurs favourite hot new products hitting Singapore soon!
It’s no secret that we have some of the best jobs in Singapore. Not only do we offer our advice and explore the latest new things to do before they’ve even opened, we also get to test and review new products. We often get sent merch and items to try, with no obligation to post about them. Here are some of the things we’ve been loving lately, and our honest thoughts on why we love it (and why we think you will too..)
1. Raising my daughter while realising my dreams – I’m building a business that I hope can nurture and support other families

As a mum and entrepreneur, one thing that’s been sparking joy for me lately is my own early childhood enrichment centre, Sparkanauts. Building a space that nurtures young minds while raising my own toddler has been deeply fulfilling. My little one is growing up right there—between classes, storytime, and planning sessions. It’s not about balancing work and life anymore, but integrating the two in a way that feels natural and meaningful. Watching children grow, laugh, and learn every day gives me a sense of purpose and light I didn’t expect. In many ways, Sparkanauts has been a gift to my own mental health—and I’m proud of that.

2. Peaceful pastimes – crafty hobbies that relax the mind

I’ve realised the importance of slowing down and refreshing our minds regularly. As a workaholic, I’ve found meditation in practical ways that I truly enjoy. I’ve recently taken up the art of flower arranging. A Saturday morning trip to the flower market, selecting blooms, and creating bouquets for home and friends is a meditative process. One day, in my 50s, I hope to turn this into a business!
I’ve also discovered a talent for bag restoration, repairing a worn-out bag was an unexpected meditation journey for me. Doing the physical work, seeing the original beauty come to life, and reinstating order from chaos – this was a deeply satisfying process, with an excellent practical result. Lastly, I’ve rediscovered a love of ballet dancing. Whether in class or at home with an online instructor, ballet combines music and movement, offering a step-by-step path to unattainable yet inspiring perfection.

3. Trying new things: Kriti loves street jazz dancing

Lately, what’s been unapologetically sparking joy for me? Street jazz dancing. It’s one hour a week where I’m not a mom, a founder, or juggling a to-do list — just a woman moving to music, feeling free and alive. I started it on a whim, and now it’s my weekly therapy. I leave every class with a huge smile, sore muscles, and a full heart. In the chaos of building a business and raising a family, doing something just for me has been such a gift. It reminds me that joy doesn’t have to be productive — it just has to be yours.

4. EQuatorial Pan Asian Restaurant: Bakery by day, Singaporean-style Izakaya by night (the perfect date spot!)
“This cosy Pan Asian Restaurant in Duxton Road vibes like a Singaporean-style Izakaya, complete with binchotan grilling, aged sashimi, and a beverage selection that pairs with just about anything on the menu. Chef Caleb brings a touch of nostalgia and refined traditions with dishes like the refreshing Seafood and Melon Salad ($17) – reminiscent of a classic Chinese wedding dinner dish, and a very unique Matcha Curry Grilled Masala Chicken ($24) – the flavours go surprisingly well together! The aged sea bream gently kissed by the Binchotan was a winner for its rich flavours and we loved the playful twist on Kaya Toast ($11) that even comes with an onsen egg!”

5. Pixi Beauty: Andrina has found a quick and easy way for busy moms to look fresh

“They really mean it when they say they are ‘all about youth-enhancing multipurpose products.’ I’m loving Pixi Beauty’s makeup range which helps us look fresh in a jiffy! Gently blur and even out skin tone with the On-the-Glow BASE (multi-use moisture stick), a buildable skin tint that’s infused with Ceramide NP, superfood berries, and fruit oils to give us glowing skin. One swipe is enough but you can load it up for more coverage. Now that it comes in 18 shades, it was super easy to find a match.”

6. Esther has had her brows transformed with henna brows by La Vida!

“Ever since becoming a mum, my choices around beauty and wellness treatments have pivoted towards those that use natural ingredients. That’s why I jumped at the opportunity to try out La Vida’s henna brow tinting, which uses natural henna dye to get the brow of my dreams (as you can see, my natural brows are barely visible). My therapist patiently walked me through the one-hour process and provided me with recommendations.
I opted for a more natural look with lighter tint, which she executed flawlessly. Though it looked more dramatic than I expected at first, my henna brows settled beautifully into that gorgeous “I woke up like this” look. I’d recommend it to my fellow mommas who are looking for brow shaping that’s non-invasive and natural. It’s also great for those with sparse brows like me. And what’s more – it’s halal-certified!” – Esther
