We love The First Refresh for one thing in particular – they mark their services as ‘Mom Safe’ if they use products gentle enough for breastfeeding mothers. You’ll find everything from facials to mani-pedis (with a huge range of colours to choose from!) There are even ‘Time-Savers’, where you can opt to combine treatments such as a facial + mani-pedi or add a lash treatment. 2. The Big Blow
Launched in 2013, The Big Blow is Singapore’s first mobile hairstyling, make-up and nails service. They do all sorts of hairstyling for when you want something special: blow-dries, up-dos, braiding, irons and curls (alas, no cut or colour). Perfect for busy mums who need a quick fix or new mamas who aren’t quite up for a visit to the hair salon. Gone are the days of looking like you put your finger in a socket! Home visits are available seven days a week between 8am and 6pm. Out-of-hours arrangements can also be made.
3. Niu Nails
Serene, aka NiuNails, is a nail technician extraordinaire who specialises in Gelish manicures and pedicures. Providing a full salon-quality service from top coat to base polish – plus nail art if you’re after something unique – she’ll get you sorted within the hour. She swears by Angel Pro Gelly Polish. She also travels island-wide and charges a transport fee according to your location. So, mums, nail that look you’ve been wanting!
4. Sole House
Now this is a massage service to put on speed dial. Sole House operates seven days a week until midnight (so you can book a slot when the kids are in bed)! It offers the works – full body massage, back, neck and shoulder, plus foot reflexology.
