1. Cafe Melba
Bounce on down to Cafe Melba, already one of our fave kid-friendly restaurants in Singapore. It’s not just the bouncy castle fun every weekend that makes this a firm fave of ours – we also seriously dig the money-saving meal deals. Every Monday (excluding eve of and public holidays), kids eat free all day with the purchase of an adult’s main meal at Cafe Melba at Goodman Arts Centre. From 5–8pm, there’s often an arts and crafts corner to make it especially family-friendly. There’s also the Kids Club Card to consider, which is valid at both outlets, where you – you personally, parents! – get rewarded for your return visits. Ask staff for more information or check the website for deets.

Speaking of grubs, your little ones can enjoy a kids eat free deal every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday. We’re hearing good things about the mac ‘n’ cheese, fish fingers, hot dogs and grilled chicken tenders; all served with french fries and coleslaw. Not the greenest menu in sight, admittedly, but it sure is tasty. Our only tip? Don’t wear white.

5. Marché Mövenpick Singapore
Can we get a whoop whoop for Marché Mövenpick? Even without the kids, we’ll often swing by on a lunchbreak sojourn (while we’re not busy working from home, of course). But when it comes to kids eat free deals in Singapore, this one will leave you and your wallet happy as a clam. Every Monday–Thursday, little diners aged three to 10 can dine for free and enjoy a free kids meal, so long as you spend $80 in a single receipt. The options here get the thumbs up from us parents, and include savoury crêpes, röstis and pastas. The Marché folks also promise ice-cream (in a waffle cone – nom!) and a fun surprise, plus a glass of juice or soft drink.
6. Hard Rock Cafe
Eat like a rockstar at all-time family-fave, Hard Rock Cafe! The kids can tuck into delicious American grub while feeling like their motorbike with leather jacket is parked out front! With its huge variety of international and local food, we know even the fussiest of kids will be easily pleased at this top-notch buffet restaurant. Other than that, we love the sound of the outdoor herb garden and the unique food theme for each night of the week. It certainly encourages repeat visits! Oh, and we’re also digging the sound of the DIY soda station, where guests can customise their own drink with a selection of fresh fruits and homemade syrup. How cool?! Make sure you’ve got a Sands Reward Lifestyle membership for this one. For safety precautions and to minimise crowds at the buffet counters, the self-serve buffet is currently replaced with tableside service.

10. Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsey
He drops the f-bomb like it’s going out of fashion, but pottymouthed celeb chef Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant at Marina Bay Sands is most definitely PG-rated. If you’re a Sands Reward Lifestyle member, your tiddlywinks can enjoy a complimentary dessert, and can also try their hands at designing their own dessert plate. All that aside, the kids’ menu is pretty appealing, if we may say so.

12. The British Club
Yes, you do have to be a member or a member’s guest, but the meal deal ‘Winey Kids Thursday’ was too good to not mention. Over at Verandah Cafe, Splash Cafe and Scores Sports Bar, kids get a free meal off their own menu with every adult main meal bought. Not only that, but it’s BYO wine. Yippee! Don’t forget as well that lots of hotels in Singapore have awesome weekend buffet options, and many are being adapted in style in light of the current pandemic. Many also offer free kids’ meals. Age caps can vary, though, so do your research before heading out!
