Here's the ultimate guide to ordering in for the fam: a complete list of all our kids' fave eats... that deliver!
This is it folks, the ultimate family-friendly food delivery guide you’ll need in your arsenal of tricks in Singapore. It’s going to be a tough few weeks: we’re reducing social gatherings, working from home is the default and having to deal with homeschooling is the norm – but we know it’s all for the best. Although our families are definitely feeling the tighter restrictions, the folks working in the F&B industry have it worse. (No) thanks to the coronavirus, the Ministry of Health has ordered all food and beverage establishments to accommodate only two (fully vaccinated) persons for dining in.
Take note that some restaurants require a few hours lead time before pick-up or delivery, so do your research first or else be faced with the wrath of a hangry toddler. Whether you’re looking to show your local some love or you’re looking to snazz up dinner, without further ado, here are our fave family-friendly restaurants in Singapore that do takeaway or delivery…
Psst… watch this space for updates!

Comfort food for delivery or pick-up
15. Potato Head Singapore and Three Buns Quayside
Although we miss our sunset cocktails over at Potato Head, our kids miss the burgers and killer brunch menu! Pick from classics like the Baby Huey, a classic burger and for the adventurous, the Rambo lamb burger.
16. PizzaExpress
Pass the doughballs please: family-friendly favourite PizzaExpress is on GrabFood, Foodpanda and Deliveroo! When it comes to our picky kids, pizza’s always one of our go-tos – our little ‘uns eat anything on a pizza! Our sneaky solution for getting them to eat veggies? The Giardineria pizza – it has asparagus, butternut squash, roasted peppers and heaps of mozzarella. Yum! Psst, there’s a 15% off for any self pick-up orders. Mamma mia!
17. Kith Café
We love brunch and we think Kith Café serves up some of the heartiest in the city; did you know they also have tasty mains perfect for lunch and dinner? Our personal fave is the Granchio pasta (it’s a bit too spicy for the kids though) – it’s basically chilli crab linguine with an extra kick: yum! There’s pasta and cake for the month via Deliveroo so try to get in on the deal while it lasts. Don’t forget to order their cookies (the mini-magical sea salt chocolate cookie is our fave) and cakes for dessert.
18. Ippudo Ramen
Give our kids a bowl of noodles and some broth and they’ll be happy little campers. Luckily, the folks at Ippudo Ramen make a pretty mean bowl. We’re talking a rich tonkotsu broth with springy noodles and melt-in-your-mouth char siew that our tiny humans can’t get enough of. And in these tough restricted times, nothing’s better for the soul than a comforting bowl of noodle soup. All outlets except for Marina Bay Sands and Jewel Changi are open for delivery and takeaway via Deliveroo and GrabFood.
19. Plank Sourdough Pizza
Love the soft, pillowy sourdough bread at Baker & Cook? Can’t get enough of pizza? Well, here’s how you can get the best of both worlds: Plank Sourdough Pizza! Its speciality lies in its kid-friendly sourdough pizza bases topped with interesting, quality and uber-fresh ingredients – with a sprinkle of personality. Although we’ll miss the play areas at Dempsey and Namly, we’ll settle for a night in with these bad boys during these restricted times, thanks to food delivery via Deliveroo and Foodpanda.
20. Da Paolo Gastronomia
Even before the circuit breaker, we’ve always relied on Da Paolo Gastronomia for kid-friendly takeaway. From pasta to pizzas, you really can’t go wrong with its signature Italian selections. If your kids (and you) are into carbs, by all means, tuck in. Order away from this website.
21. The Assembly Ground
There’s no such thing as too much pasta, and here at HoneyKids, the more the merrier it is for us! The Assembly Ground is having a 1-for-1 pasta from Mondays to Thursday, which applies for both islandwide delivery and self pick-up from its two outlets. Psst, there’s the Family Bundle meal too – perfect if you want more in addition to your pasta.
22. Maki-San
Sushi, anyone? With Maki-San, the littlies can customise their own maki rolls with neverending ingredients (avoiding the veggies, natch) that come in cute lunch boxes. If makis are not enough to feed the kids, there are combo sets and salad bowls to add to your order. Perfect! Take a walk and self pick-up if there’s an outlet near you; otherwise, order via its website or Deliveroo, Foodpanda or GrabFood.
23. Shake Shack
One of our favourite burger joints in Singapore is on GrabFood, and we’re super stoked! You can’t go wrong with the original ShackBurger, the ‘Shroom Burger if you’re trying to make eating greens palatable to kiddo, or even the hot dog. Want a side of sweetness to your meal? Get its Pandan Shake, exclusive only to our little red dot.
24. Swensen’s
Nothing screams comfort in Singapore than Swensen’s! This household family-friendly establishment offers delivery and takeaway, so you can get your favourite golden classics for all your meals at home. Of course, no meal is complete without desserts – get the Topless 15 to sample its ice cream flavours!
Date night worthy food for delivery or pick-up
25. FOC
While the kids are snoozing in bed, treat yo’ selves to some Spanish tapas from FOC – all in the safety of your own home via delivery or takeaway during this Phase 2. Yep, FOC will be serving up some comfort through tapas like our favourite patatas bravas, mushroom croquetas and prawns al ajillo. For extra decadence, get some squid ink paella (another fave)!
26. PS.Cafe
It’s no secret that we go wild for the PS.Cafe truffle fries (fine, they’re kid-friendly too but don’t tell the kids) and knowing that they’ll still be available through takeaway makes this whole Phase Two ‘lockdown’ so much better. The best part? All self-pickup orders are 20% off (excluding retail wines)! Call the outlet nearest you to order or visit its website. Looking for more options? Order from its other restaurants via the website.
27. Blue Jasmine
We won’t be able to travel to Thailand anytime soon, but we can bring the flavours of the country to our dining table courtesy of Blue Jasmine. Go simple by ordering its bento sets and poke bowls, or go hearty with its selections such as chef’s favourite sun-dried chicken with green chilli, and Gaeng Som, a much-loved dish across Southern Thailand. Don’t forget to get its housemade Thai Milk Tea, a perfect end to a perfect date meal.
28. Ichigo Ichie
When was the last time you’ve gone out for some fine dining with your spouse? If you’re still trying to recall, then it’s never too late to make up for it with Ichigo Ichie‘s authentic Japanese offerings. Simply place your order (at least a day in advance) via WhatsApp and just wait for your mains to be delivered right to your doorstep. Date night saved! Psst, delivery is available islandwide except for Sentosa, Jurong Island, and Tuas.
29. Bedrock Bar & Grill
Craving for some steak? Time to hit up Bedrock Bar & Grill for exquisite cuts of the finest meats! Pair your meat delivery with its offering of rare and old single malt whiskies from all over the world as well as burnt cheesecake for a gastronomical dinner date at home for two. Psst, the restaurant also has sharing sets that can feed the entire fam, but the kiddos don’t need to know that!
30. Salted and Hung
We like the idea of this restaurant – nothing is left to waste, i.e. every single thing is creatively used for serving. We’re talking from skin to bone, proteins to innards here! Smoked, cured, pickled, grilled… you name it, Salted and Hung does everything. The Dinner for 2 is perfect for a quiet night in, but if you’re getting delivery for the fam, we suggest the porchetta and/or lasagna. Order can be made via Oddle Eats or Chope.
Enjoy your meals folks, and stay safe!
