A third of the world’s population is currently in quarantine (no) thanks to Covid-19, and we’ve been racking our brains to find something entertaining for our kids. Between these educational YouTube channels and online websites to browse, we’re on the hunt for something a little more lighthearted. Well, it has come to our attention that our tweens and teens have caught the TikTok bug and are obsessed with its hilarious videos – many of which include dancing in pairs or in a group. Even the celebs are in on the case (we see you, Courteney Cox)! Well, score some points as the cool mum or dad and hop on the TikTok train with the kiddos, thanks to these entertaining viral TikTok videos you can dance to with your kids.

If you’re a fan of Hell’s Kitchen, Masterchef or any other competitive cooking reality TV show, you’ll know who Gordon Ramsay is. He may be famous for his anger, temperament and delicious recipes, but this accomplished chef is also one of the countless celebrities who has joined TikTok and has served up video after video of hilarity. Now, this is an easy TikTok dance for the little ones: Ciara and her husband, NFL quarterback Russell Wilson, recently posted a TikTok of their adorable family dancing to Wiz Khalifa’s Something New. This is peak quarantine, wholesome family content at its finest. Too cute!
8. The Don’t Start Now challenge
Ask any millennial, Gen Z or hip mum or dad and they’ll know who English singer Dua Lipa is. And, if you hop on to TikTok, you’ll see variations of this dance challenge going around. Our favourite? This mum dancing along to the song with her baby in tow. We’re sure it’s a great workout – plus, the baby is adorable!
And lastly, the Flip The Switch challenge…
Okay, so we know this technically isn’t a dance challenge, but it has everyone doing it because it’s so simple. We’re talking politicians like Senator Elizabeth Warren, celebrities likeJ-Lo and A-Rod and even mums and their babies. There are so many good TikToks out there, but personally, our favourite of this challenge has definitely got to be this one – who knew grandma was so sporting!
