Cool off with the kids at one of these fin-tastic water theme parks!
It’s all about quality over quantity when it comes to the best water parks in Singapore (and just beyond!). We’ve got tons of great public swimming pools on our weekend fun list, but if you’re looking to make a big splash with some serious water play (check out our guide to Singapore’s huge range of FREE water playgrounds while you’re at it), you’re going to need to know where the giant inflatables, crazy fast water coasters and the laziest of rivers are at…
1. Aqua Adventure at HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir

It’s been pretty hot lately, and if you’re looking for a good cool off, we know just the place. Hit up the Aqua Adventure at HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir for a splashing good time with the brood. Did we mention it is Singapore’s first integrated all-weather water adventure with three storeys? It also features Singapore’s longest indoor waterslide at 114 m for the double rider slide and an indoor net obstacle arena. Plenty to keep the kiddos entertained! Note that the minimum height requirement for kids to enter is 1.25m.
How much: From $25
Water park opening hours:
Tuesday to Friday: 10am – 2.30pm & 3pm – 7.30pm

2. Wild Wild Wet, Downtown East

If you haven’t been to the water park jewel of the east recently, then you need to pack your swimmers and head on over, stat. This is one of our faves and it’s a splashin’ hub of water excellence the whole fam will love. Wild Wild Wet is our pick if your toddlers are brave and love waterslides, as there is a fantastic splash play area and gentle slides just their size, that they won’t tire of riding over and over again for HOURS. Teens and braver parents will love the Vortex, Free Fall and Royal Flush (we think we were airborne on this one – so scary!) The less confident members of the crew can have a whale of a time trying out the wave pool, lazy river and water playgrounds, and whizzing down the less terrifying slides!
How much: From $29/adult, $21/child (3-12 years old); kids under three years old enter free! NTUC members enjoy 30% off ticket prices

3. Adventure Cove Waterpark, Sentosa

Resorts World Sentosa’s Adventure Cove Waterpark is perfect for a day of soggy antics. We especially love swimming with the fish over at the fin-fully fabulous Rainbow Reef, where you can get up close with tropical fish as you snorkel your way around the pool. Book a session to feed stingrays, float down the 620 metre Adventure River and see the turtles and rays up close as you drift by! Littles will love the Big Bucket Treehouse, and we highly recommend booking a private cabana at BluWater Bay to soak up the sun in peace and enjoy the wave pool.

There are also some handy lockers nearby and both adults’ and kids’ bathrooms for washing up afterwards.

Visit Splash Tribe water play area with the kiddos. It’s complete with slides and plunge pools, with lots of daybeds for the adults to chill. While you’re there, why not check out the 18-hole mini golf course, or head to Hyperdrive, a three-storey electric go kart arena!

6. HydroDash at Sentosa

While it’s not a typical theme park, this is a bouncing fun waterplay zone that our kiddos go mad for (adults report feeling like it’s more of a water workout!) Forming part of the Palawan @ Sentosa activity hub, if you have older kiddos, we’d recommend heading to +Twelve Beach Club and book yourself a daybed while they challenge themselves on this ninja-like water course!
How much: $22 for 1-hour access, $40 for 2-hour access

7. Water play at Mandai Wildlife Reserve’s Bird Paradise and Singapore Zoo

We love the the Mandai Wildlife Reserve nature parks, and there’s no better way to cool off after a day of visiting the birds and animals than by switching to swimmers and plunging in the play pools! At Bird Paradise, you’ll find Egg Splash, a bird-themed water play that has giant eggs and a wide slide. Make sure you take care at this one, as there is a drop off the slide that can be difficult to manage for littler ones. The Splish Splash zone at KidzWorld at Singapore Zoo is another winner with our tribe. Kids can explore the ever-changing maze of water and there’s nothing like the squeals of joy as they run through the fountains!
How much: Free with every Singapore Zoo and Bird Paradise ticket!

The kids water playground is free entry, but if you’re keen to try surfing on the Stingray (from $30) or wallow in the lazy river ($2 per entry), fees will apply.

Thinking of a short getaway across the border? We love Desaru as it’s just a 70-minute ferry ride from Singapore, or 2 hours by car. Adventure Waterpark Desaru Coast is a must-visit when you’re there, with the first ever water coaster in the region and one of the biggest wave pools in the world! Here you’ll find over 20 rides and slides so you can tire the kids out with a full day of water play fun. Looking for a place to stay? 10. LEGOLAND Waterpark

Okay, so we know technically it’s not IN Singapore, but it’s easy enough to get to and it’s loads of fun so we can’t leave it out: LEGOLAND Waterpark is splash-tastic, and well worth the trip across the bridge to Malaysia! Hit the surf at the LEGO wave pool, float along the Build-A-Raft lazy river and throw yourself (and/or the kids) down tube slides and body slides galore. And when you’re done with all the wet ‘n’ wild fun, dry off and head into LEGOLAND for more awesome adventures.
