This is it folks, the ultimate kid-friendly food delivery guide during the circuit breaker you’ll need in your arsenal of tricks. It’s been a tough few weeks: we’ve been amping up our social distancing skills, working from home and dealing with homeschooling but we know it’s all for the best. Although our families are definitely feeling the circuit breaker, the folks working in the F&B industry have it worse. (No) thanks to the coronavirus, the Ministry of Health has ordered all food and beverage establishments to be open for takeaway and delivery only – bummer!
Do take note that some restaurants require a few hours lead time before pick-up or delivery so do your research first or else be faced with the wrath of a hangry toddler. Whether you’re looking to show your local some love or you’re looking to snazz up dinner, without further ado, here are our fave kid-friendly restaurants you can order from for takeaway or food delivery during the circuit breaker:
Psst… watch this space for updates!

Baker & Cook Singapore
We love our sourdough bread and we think that kid-friendly fave Baker & Cook has some of the best on the island. Our hot tip? Grab a pack of hot cross buns while they still have ’em – they’re delish. Yes, they deliver via Deliveroo and Foodpanda and offer pick-up (call the store in advance) during the circuit breaker! If you’re on a grocery run at Cold Storage, Marketplace or Jasons, you’ll also find Baker & Cook goodies at the bread section – score!
All Things Delicious
If the kids are being good while you’re busy working from home, All Things Delicious is our secret source for sugary treats. We’re talking sea salt caramel brownies, gula melaka scones and even bread and butter pudding. The best part? There’s no trans fat in these goodies! And yep, they do islandwide delivery except Sentosa, Jurong Island and military areas with restricted access.
Open Farm Community
We’re going to miss this kid-friendly restaurant for a while (especially the play area!) but that won’t stop us from getting our fave healthy treats from Open Farm Community. Their circuit breaker food delivery option via Deliveroo includes full set meals, including a set for two adults and two kids. Yup, wine is available too! Sounds like a win to us!
Yay, one of our fave brunch kid-friendly spots in Robertson Quay, Summerlong, is offering food delivery and pick-up during the circuit breaker through this site! Check this out for their full delivery and takeaway menu. Easy breezy fresh salads and grilled kebabs, here we come!
Are your tiny humans tired of your fish fingers and steamed broccoli? Here’s the good news: kid-friendly Jamie’s Italian‘s uber-wholesome kids’ picks are available for pick-up and doorstep delivery through their own service as well as Foodpanda and Deliveroo during the circuit breaker. And if you’re in the Forum branch area, you can also opt to do a drive-thru pick-up to save you the hassle of parking your car. The best part? Potato Head Singapore and Three Buns Quayside
Although we miss our sunset cocktails over at Potato Head, our kids miss the burgers and killer brunch menu! Lucky for us, they’re doing food delivery through Deliveroo and Foodpanda, plus takeaway from 10am to 12am everyday during the circuit breaker. Pick from classics like the Baby Huey, a classic burger and for the adventurous, the Rambo lamb burger.
Pass the doughballs please: kid-friendly favourite PizzaExpress is on GrabFood, Foodpanda and Deliveroo! When it comes to our picky kids, pizza’s always one of our go-tos – our little ‘uns eat anything on a pizza! Our sneaky solution for getting them to eat veggies? The Giardineria pizza – it has asparagus, butternut squash, roasted peppers and heaps of mozzarella. Yum!
Plank Sourdough Pizza
Love the soft, pillowy sourdough bread at Baker & Cook? Can’t get enough of pizza? Well, here’s how you can get the best of both worlds: Plank Sourdough Pizza! Their specialty lies in their kid-friendly sourdough pizza bases topped with interesting, quality and uber-fresh ingredients – with a sprinkle of personality. Although we’ll miss their play areas at Dempsey and Namly, we’ll settle for a night in with these bad boys during the circuit breaker, thanks to food delivery via Deliveroo and Foodpanda.
We love brunch and we think Kith Café serves up some of the heartiest in the city; did you know they also have tasty mains perfect for lunch and dinner? Our personal fave is the Granchio pasta (it’s a bit too spicy for the kids though) – it’s basically chilli crab linguine with an extra kick: yum! And for the month of April, it’s offering 1-for-1 pasta deals via Deliveroo so try to get in on the deal while it lasts. Don’t forget to order their cookies (the mini-magical sea salt chocolate cookie is our fave) and cakes for dessert.
Da Paolo Gastronomia
Even before the circuit breaker, we’ve always relied on Da Paolo Gastronomia for kid-friendly takeaway. From their pastas to their pizzas, you really can’t go wrong with their signature Italian selections. If your kids (and you) are into carbs, by all means, tuck in. Order away from this website.
Give our kids a bowl of noodles and some broth and they’ll be happy little campers. Luckily, the folks at Ippudo Ramen make a pretty mean bowl. We’re talking a rich tonkotsu broth with springy noodles and melt-in-your mouth char siew that our tiny humans can’t get enough of. And in these tough circuit breaker times, nothing’s better for the soul than a comforting bowl of noodle soup. All outlets except for Marina Bay Sands and Jewel Changi are open for delivery and takeaway via Deliveroo and GrabFood.
Date night worthy
While the kids are snoozing in bed, treat yo’ selves to some Spanish tapas from FOC – all in the safety of your own home via delivery or takeaway during the circuit breaker. Yep, FOC will be serving up some comfort through tapas like our favourite patatas bravas, mushroom croquetas and prawns al ajillo. For extra decadence, get some squid ink paella (another fave)!
It’s no secret that we go wild for the PS.Cafe truffle fries (fine, they’re kid-friendly too but don’t tell the kids) and knowing that they’ll still be available through takeaway makes this whole circuit breaker so much better. The best part? All self-pickup orders are 20% off! Call the outlet nearest you to order or visit its website.
