Looking to spoil the kids with a super fun adventure this weekend? Take them to see Cosentino Decennium: The World's Greatest Magic Show. They won't believe their eyes (and neither will you)...
We are huge theatre fanatics here at HoneyKids HQ, and we don’t miss a show, especially if it’s kid-friendly, includes magic, and the whole family will enjoy it. Cosentino Decennium: The World’s Greatest Magic Show ticks all these boxes and more. Here we unpack our favourite moments from the show, but you’ll have to be quick as he leaves Singapore after this weekend! So go on and catch him if you can.. (magical movie buffs will get that pun).
1. Cosentino is enigmatic and holds his audience captivated
With his dreadlocked hair and commanding flair, Cosentino oozes confidence and is everything a good magician should be. He wears bold costumes, and at one stage dons a velvet cape, which we thoroughly approve of for a magic show! We loved the audience involvement and how he treats his stage assistants with respect and gratitude. There’s no swearing here, and he is really quite funny, so the kids are sure to love him (and the mums approve as well!)
2. Card tricks galore, and we still don’t know how he does it
The card tricks were by far our favourite part of the show. How does he do it? Like, really… how? Even with close-up camera angles and a radomly-selected assistant from the crowd, Cosentino had us all in awe of how that signed card just kept popping back to the top. We actually want to see the show a second time to see if we can work out how he does it. But at the same time, we don’t want to spoil the magic.
3. Illuminating illusions by Cosentino in Singapore
Add fire, escape stunts with locks and strait-jackets, sharp knives, and levitation, and you have a set up for a whole host of exciting illusions. We loved how the stunts were interspersed with videos of Cosentino and his team preparing for the stunts, so we had a better understanding of the risks involved. The illusions were probably the scariest part of the show, but the little ones in front of us were still clapping and cheering at the end with no tears. So if you think your little one can handle the excitement, there is no age limit for attendance!
Pssst… for a limited time, you can catch Cosentino this weekend only for 1-for-1 ticket prices! Book now before this hot deal disappears.
