1. Chijmes Dome Dining under the stars
If you have never experienced dining in a dome at Chijmes, then this is your chance! This special experience is back especially for Valentine’s Day. The bubble domes with a view of the night sky have been decorated with a twinkling Valentine’s theme, dotted around The Lawn at Chijmes. Best bit: There’s a choice of cuisines, with Mexican flavours from El Mero Mero or authentic Spanish dishes by Lumbre. 2. The Alkaff Mansion
The Alkaff Mansion is a fave location for us at the best of times, but it takes on a whole new magic at night and takes a lot to beat when it comes to the ultimate romantic setting. So for a Spanish-inspired love affair, you might want to reserve your table at The Alkaff Mansionfor a swoon-worthy five-course dinner. We’ll see you there!

We love Botanico at the best of times and think this hidden gem is perfect for Valentine’s. Dine in the beautifully conserved 1920s Art Deco building amidst the lush greenery of the Botanic Gardens with a four course menu available for one day only on 14 February 2024. Love is well and truly in the air.

4. Nox Dine in the Dark
Nox Dine in the Dark prides itself as one of Singapore’s most romantic restaurants, and it’s easy to see why. It’s also a perfect option if you haven’t got time to glam up (thanks, kids!). Your romantic three-course meal will be served in total darkness, so no need to worry about that pimple you didn’t have time to cover or the baby food on your skirt… Chow down (as messily as you like, no one is looking) on a decadent menu. We say add on the cocktail tasting, too – it is Valentine’s Day, after all! Book early; this one will be popular!

5. The Summerhouse, Au Balcon
If it’s a splurge you fancy, then The Summerhouse is it. And if you want to make it extra special, then bag a garden dome (warning – they sell out fast!). Wherever you opt to eat, you’re sure to be in for a treat. This place has bags of wow factor and tops the bill when it comes to a romantic setting. Expect exquisite plates crafted with French finesse and Parisian flair, and be swept away by the romance in French food.

Celebrate a fusion of cultures at Kubo Woodfired Kitchen, redefining the flavours of the Philippines using ingredients from around the world and traditional Filipino barbecuing techniques. Kubo’s food is inspired by the heritage of Chef Kurt Sombero. If you’ve never tried Filipino food or have limited experience with it, this is the place to begin your culinary journey! While larger stews and dishes meant for sharing are the norm in the Philippines, at Kubo you can enjoy lots of smaller sharing plates and individual bites, so you can enjoy a range of dishes and flavours.
Begin your Valentine meal with a deliciously refreshing Gaztapo Shot, with just the right amount of crunch from the croutons. Where do they source their avocados for the Avocado and Olive Oil Caviar? Because we may return regularly for this dish alone (something about the salty seaweed and sesame combo had us salivating). Our pick of the Valentine’s menu? If you and your other half love steak, be sure to pop by Wolfgang’s Steakhouse Singapore this Valentine’s Day. The four course Valentine’s menu starts off with oysters, followed by lobster bisque. Then follows a selection of entrees, and a choice between a Porterhouse steak for two or a Chilean sea bass. For sides, choose two from options such as creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, and roasted new potatoes – sounds delish! End with a romantic dessert, named ‘Twin Flame’, a delectable strawberry sponge cake with cherry strawberry chantilly cream and vanilla macarons.

Or, if a 5-course menu is more your thing, then you’re in for a treat with options including Blue Fin Tuna with Avocado and Black Quinoa and Miyazaki Wagyu with Black Truffle and Pickled Mushroom. Heading to Dempsey Hill this Valentine’s Day 2024? Then chances are you may be paying a visit to one of the COMO Dempsey restaurants. If you want a Valentine’s Day for all the family, how about heading to Dempsey fave, AT feast? There’s a special set menu for the grown-ups with a whole host of delish options up for grabs. Our pick is the herb crusted lamb chop and that’s before we’ve mentioned desserts – hello, ice cream profiteroles!
Casual elegance? Culina at Como Dempsey is the place to go. For a glamourous Valentine date night option, you can’t go past Candlenut. Chef Malclm Lee helms this one-Michelin-star Peranakan restaurant not only has stellar food, but a super romantic ambience. Heart eyes all round!

13. Sarai
Can’t make it to Thailand this Valentine’s Day? Head to this little Thai hideaway instead! Sarai is offering up a Valentine’s Day five-course set dinner, and we’re sold!
