Bubble Planet Singapore opening times and buying tickets (kids under four go free!)
Ticket pricing is dynamic and surges based on availability, so it’s best to buy early! Ticket prices start at $21.90 for adults and $14.90 for kids. It’s a great idea to buy tickets online or the Fever App before you go, and if you share the event with friends, you can each earn $7 to spend on the app.
Children under four years old can visit free of charge. Children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult, and kids aged six to eight need an adult with them to join the VR experience.
The experience duration is roughly 60 to 90 minutes, and don’t forget socks to wear in the bubble bath! Opening hours are from 10am to 8:30pm, with tickets sold in slots.
What to expect at Bubble Planet Singapore: Our favourite experiences and things to watch out for
Our little ones absolutely love bubbles, and we just assumed that this experience would be suitable for kids of all ages. While it was definitely fun, there are things to look out for if you are planning on taking little ones. We would recommend this experience for kiddos aged 4 and over.
1. LED Room

When you enter the Bubble Planet experience, the first room you come to is the LED Room. Here you’ll see fish swimming on the floor and you’ll feel immediately immersed in another world. Disappointingly, the room didn’t seem interactive as we’ve seen at some other experiences – for example, you couldn’t step on the bubbles and watch them pop. Still, a fun room to spend some time gazing in.
Take note: Be careful of the mirrored walls, as there are some sharp edges and it can be hard for the kids to get their bearings – you don’t want anyone running into a wall!
2. Bubble Ocean

Our little ones could have spent most of their time in this room. Giant pink balloons fill this room, and the kiddos loved running through and bouncing into them and tossing them into the air. The giant ‘palm tree’ made it feel as though we really were in a bubble sea! It’s important to keep a close eye on younger kids here, as it’s easy for them to fall over the balloons and then it can be hard to see them – you don’t want anyone getting stepped on.
Older kids will have a blast playing in here, and it was one of the largest of the bubble rooms. Also look out for any vents or fans blowing bubbles in the air – kids hair or fingers could get caught if they get too close.
3. Giant Bubble dome

This intergalactic style dome has a constant light show running with bean bags for the kids to chill out on and gaze at the walls. While it’s cool and feels really immersive, this space is also quite echoey so can be a little overstimulating with all the sights and sounds.
4. Selfie Room

This area is exactly what it says it is, with a bath tub full of rubber duckies, a cute swing, and a hoop bubble perfect for selfies and photos with the fam. Beware of swinging the seat back too far, and it’s a short bump to the wall!
5. Bubble Bath

A giant inflatable baby taking a bath in thousands of ball-pit ‘bubbles’? It’s as weird and fun as it sounds. While the photo ops here are second to none, the ball pool is surprisingly deep at 1.4 metres and very tricky to manoeuvre through! While we found it to be a great workout wading through the balls and playfully tossing them to the kids, little ones found this play space a struggle and you need to keep a constant watch on them, especially if they can’t reach the floor.
6. Balloon Getaway

Have you ever wondered what Carl and Russell in the movie Up must have felt like when they floated away on their house lifted by balloons? This is as close as we think we’ll come, with this fun immersive room that has walls covered in constantly changing digital art.
7. Infinity Room

This space was one of the kids’ favourites, and is very similar to the Future World installation at the Art Science Museum. While you are meant to follow the designated path for safety reasons, it is a huge parental challenge to get the kids to follow this rule! They just want to run through the ropes of lights, and who can blame them when they looks so pretty. A great space for photo ops with older kids (and the littles, if you can get them to stand still long enough!)
8. VR experience

It’s a trippy experience to see a room full of bubble seats and people in VR goggles floating away! Kids need to be aged 6 and above to join in the fun here, so we didn’t get to try this out – let us know what you think if you get to give it a go.
9. Soap Bubbles

What would Bubble Planet be without real-life, for-real, actual bubbles? This was the hardest room to get the kids to leave, they loved it so much. There is a giant pair of robot arms dipping into soapy mixture and waving bubbles into the air, as well as blowing thousands of bubble through a net. Dancing and popping bubbles – it’s everything the kids love about the magic of bubbles, all in one room.
