What to expect at Artbox Camp 2026

Artbox Singapore is an annual creative festival which has its roots in a Thailand street market. Whether here or there, Artbox is all about celebrating creatives and indie artists. It’s one giant pop-up with art installations, unique experiences, food stalls, and shops from local and regional vendors. We had a sneak peek of the festival, watch what fun we had on our Instagram.
Fun things to do with kids at Artbox Camp 2026

There’s plenty for kids to play at Artbox Camp 2026. We’re talking a tall playgrounds, games, art and carfts, and more. From the people who make playgrounds in Singapore — Parklab — is tall playground structure complete with two long slides and climbing structures. To ensure safety, kids are allowed 10 minutes of play each time.
While waiting for a turn on the slide, you can challenge your kids to a round of Daytona or show off your dance skills at the arcade. Otherwise, there are claw machines to keep the spirits up! But if it’s free play you are looking for, then head to the Nintendo play area to Mario Kart your time away.
It is a camp themed festival so expect lots of nature related art and craft activities at The Creative Nook. Think a sensory play rice pit (instead of sand, there’s rice!), wood and sticks, storytelling, and crafting. For STEM lovers, we spotted a 3D printer and some robotics fun going on!
The kids area sits to the left of the hall when you enter.
Family activities at Artbox Camp 2026

Partners like Song He Rice bring carnival fun activities such as ball toss where Song He Rice will donate a bowl of rice to Food from the Heart for each play. You’ll get three complimentary tosses (additional rounds are $5/ play) and stand to win prizes for yourself too! We left with the brand’s exclusive rice scented perfume, now we’re smelling like sweet glutinous rice!
For high-energy fun, head to Pacific Light area for the ever popular Floor is Lava game! Each play gives you three lives and sadly for us, we didn’t last more than five minutes. There’s also a Pedal for Power challenge where you can put your spin classes into good use. Pedal and light up the display in 15 seconds and you’ll win a $5 Artbox voucher!
Don’t miss the photo booths with camp themed setup and backgrounds. It’s $10 for two strips and the pictures turned out really well!
DIY activities and workshops at Artbox Camp 2026

We love that many vendors are offering DIY activities and quick workshops on the spot. You can DIY your very own gelato for $38. All ingredients and instructions are provided and you’ll go home with a full pint of DIY gelato. Other DIY activities including blending your own tea bags, scent making, candle making, terrarium making, and more. One thing did that creep us out were the giant beetle larvae!! But it was fascinating to see them up close at Beetlebuds‘ booth. They’re more than happy to share about the insects, after all, they’re here to help us “reduce our fear”.
