Exploria is Mandai Wildlife Reserve's newest indoor nature-themed multimedia attraction for teens and youths!
To say Exploria is just an immersive experience is an understatement. Mandai Wildlife Reserve’s newest attraction is a nature-themed multimedia game and adventure that puts us at the centre of Earth’s interconnected system. It’s a fun, interactive and immersive journey that takes us from the height of Artics to the depths of the sea, meeting microorganisms and giant beasts that once roamed the earth! Conservation and education may be the end goal here but trust us, you and your teen won’t even know it because you’ll be busy traversing the worlds, collecting points and badges, while learning about the world we live in. Think of it as an indoor playground for teens and youths but with a purpose! Of course the younger ones are welcomed – just take note of dim lightings and loud sounds at some areas.
Put on your best walking shoes because Exploria is huge! As one of Southeast Asia’s largest indoor nature-themed multimedia attraction, it spans 10,000sqm across two levels! Thankfully, there are plenty of seats scattered around, so you won’t break a sweat. Most of the worlds are on level one, with two worlds accessible by escalator on level two. If you’re bringing the little ones, find dedicated parking spots for strollers within the sections and nursing rooms on level one. Bring your bottles for hydration at the water points near the restrooms. Exploria officially opens 3 March 2026 but we had a sneak peek! Check out our Instagram for what to expect!

The journey begins at the Biopool

The multimedia adventure starts at Our Interconnected World, a four-meter LED Globe named Biopool, that symbolises the heart of the world. It pulses to the signals we send to it via the RFID tags that are given to each guest at the beginning of the exhibition. It is also the central point that connects to all the worlds. Watch the globe come alive every alternate hour in a light and sound show, The Planet Awakens.
It is here where you’ll choose and name an avatar. Don’t miss this step because this is where you start clocking points! Look out for flowing plus signs along the way to scan and collect your points and badges. Don’t worry if you can’t finish everything in a day, your progress will be kept active for an entire year, so you can always revisit to continue the journey. Check the leaderboard at the end of the experience to discover your avatar’s persona. And if you’re in the top rungs, who knows, you might just win yourself some exclusive merchandise!
Things to note:
- Choose your journey and explore any world as you wish or you can follow our trail.
- Remember to scan your RFID tags where you see a glowing plus sign to unlock content or collect items and points.
- Look out for hidden gems to scan as you go along — hint, look behind walls, look up and down!
- There are dedicated photo stations at every world and you can download digital images with the QR code on your wrist tag. Make sure to connect to Exploria’s free Wifi to do so.
Micro Worlds

Do you know how viruses look like? You’ll find out at Micro Worlds! It reveals the hidden ecosystems from the microscopic world to the insect kingdom through interactive orbs, projection domes, and suspended mirror domes.
Realm of the Giants

This is a journey from four prehistoric eras to the present day, so you’ll see some of the largest animals to roam the Earth. Yes, we’re talking dinosaurs and more! Your RFID tags unlock AR cameras for picture taking, along with light and sound effects! The main highlight of this world is the eight minute multimedia show on an elevated ride. The Giants Show is where you’ll experience 500 million years of evolution with motion, mist, special effects. Pretty impressive! We even had goosebumps at some parts. Note that children below 6 years old must be accompanied by an adult and this is not recommended for guests with motion sickness or dizziness, or sensitivity to light, sound and/or mist.
Bitdeer AI Extreme Frontiers

This is where you’ll experience four different environments, from the arid desert, icy Arctic, high altitude and the modern city. Enter rooms with temperatures that range from 4°C to 40°C, and wind speeds of up to 70km/h! And, if you’ve never seen the Aurora, here’s your chance to!
World of Darkness

As the name suggests, it is dark! You’ll walk through dimly lit caves and winding tunnels to learn how animals of the night navigate life in the dark. Beware! The sound effects here are pretty realistic, we scared ourselves silly here. The journey continues into the deep, blue sea with an interactive projection table that ripples (think Future Worlds) and a large-scale projection of glowing jellyfishes swimming around. With the visuals and sound, it was strangely calming – there are seats here too, so sit back, relax, and enjoy!
Infinite Wonderland

Here is where you’ll experience the rainforest system, coral reefs, and even a tropical storm! Explore the rainforest and find the hidden species to collect and watch the space turn pink with the coral spawning show which runs every 20 minute. The tropical storm is a mist and windy experience towards the end of the world, hold on to your hats!
