The largest Demon Slayer exhibition has landed in Singapore
What is Demon Slayer?

For those who have yet to read the manga, watch the anime, or check out the movies, let me give you a quick breakdown. The story starts with our young protagonist Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko, whose family was slain by demons. Nezuko is revealed to have been turned into a demon herself, similar to how vampires turn humans into one of them. To avenge his family and find a way to turn his sister back into a human, Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps – an organisation dedicated to hunting these demons using swordsmanship skills they call Breathing Techniques. As of now, there have been 63 episodes and two movies, with the story wrapping up in the next two movies. There’s still time to catch up before the big finale!
Do note that the anime is rated for ages 14 and up, while the movies are NC16 for blood and violence – so not very safe for younger children to watch! As for the exhibition, there is no specific age restriction. However, some darker or atmospheric zones are pretty intense for younger children, so it’s up to the parents’ discretion.
What to expect from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ Total Concentration Exhibition
Iconic scenes brought to life

The exhibition’s installations will primarily focus on the emotional battles, character profiles, and stunning visuals from the Mugen Train movie. Get to know more about the Demon Slayer Corps at the Demon Slayer Headquarters, which has profiles of the main characters, memorable quotes from them, and each of their unique Breathing Techniques. We especially loved the atmospheric lighting and forest ambience at the recreation of Mount Fujikasane, where the entrance exam for Demon Slayers takes place.

The exhibition also features tons of amazing artwork, hand-drawn by the various artists who worked on their various projects. This also includes the rough sketches, concept art, and even a wall of each artist’s art style and interpretation of the beloved characters. Even if you don’t know anything about Demon Slayer, you’ll definitely be able to appreciate the beauty of the art!
