Here’s what you and the kids can expect…
1. Enjoy the interactive elements of the Immersive Disney Animation experience!
You’ll be surprised at how the Sands Theatre has been reimagined to make this experience absolutely magical! You and the kiddos will also have much fun discovering the many interactive elements of the show. For example, as soon as you enter, you’ll find stars forming a circle around your feet or clearing a path for you as you walk around the theatre. It’s an absolute joy for kiddos to revel in these cool, interactive animated experiences. Plus, you’ll be delighted that these elements change and continue during the show.
2. Sing along to your favourite Disney tunes with kids!
If your little ones love singing iconic Disney songs, they will love singing their hearts out during the show. Did we mention that the entire theatre has been transformed to resemble a 360-degree cinema?
Our hearts swelled as familiar and iconic scenes from the movies play on the ceiling-to-floor-sized screen seamlessly; kids can get up and play with the interactive elements or be held in thrall during their favourite characters’ songs and scenes.
3. BUBBLE-Serenade Surprise!
Our little ones love a bubble machine at the best of times, but this is next level! Prepare to be serenaded in bubbles during iconic scenes. These make for great photo ops, but it will mostly delight kiddos. Pssst… during Frozen II, the bubbles were filled with mist, giving the whole room a ‘snowy’ feel!
4. Take a family photo with a giant Mickey, and other Disney characters!
Upon entering the Sands Theatre for the Disney Immersive Animation Experience, the first thing that greets you is this giant Mickey that we couldn’t help getting excited over. Be sure to snap cool IG-worthy pics. Don’t miss out on the other characters too! There are some cute photo ops with Elsa and Anna from Frozen.
Here’s a tip for a cool photo op with the Frozen siblings! Have your kiddo pick up a few leaves and throw them up in the air as you capture the shot!
5. Learn how to draw classic Disney characters (with HACKS!)
Before heading into the theatre that has been transformed especially for the Immersive Disney Animation experience, you and your little ones can learn how to draw your favourite Disney characters. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know how! You’ll find some expert hacks for perfecting Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy! It’s good fun for for the whole fam. Want to keep your masterpiece? You can take it home with you!
