So, with all that endless sunshine, you’re no doubt a regular at the pool or beach, ready to embrace your inner mermaid. With all that splash-tastic fun to be had, you’re going to be in need of some snazzy kids’ swimwear! If you’re in the market for some new girls’ bikinis, swimsuits, boys’ boardshorts, rashguards or kids’ bathers, then you’re in luck. We’ve tracked down the best places to buy kids swimsuit in Singapore, and even swimwear for kids that come with UV protection. Speaking of which, remember to slap on the sunscreen! 1. Decathlon – Affordable and accessible swimwear

Think hypermart but for sports goods. The French sporting goods brand, Decathlon, is one of the bmost affordable places to your sporting gear. They have swimsuits for children of all ages, including rash guards, swim shorts, and wet suits that come with UV protection. We tried and tested them on multiple beach holidays – no more tan or peeling skin! However, you might run the risk of accidentally twinning with others. At prices starting from $8, you can easily mix the basic selections with the printed or seasonal designs to create your own look! While you are at it, might as well grab goggles and other swimming gear.

2. August Society – swimsuits for the whole family

This one-stop-shop stocks everything you need for the whole fam to hit the waters in style. From essentials to beat the sun, like rash guards with UPF +50 protection, to snazzy swimwear for the tots -the options are endless! The good news is its swimwear is comfortable and, here’s the bonus point -sustainable too (made from recycled materials). Double tick! As for style, we love that the whole fam can sport matching designs by the beach or pool. Top it off with some of the adorable accessories on offer, and you have a perfect family portrait at the ready!

3. The Baby Closet – swimwear for the young ‘uns

Consciously designed with sustainability in mind, this online store has a great selection of swimsuit for kids from 0 to 5 years old. Besides being sustainable in design, the swimmers are comfortable, soft to wear, chlorine-resistant and UPF 50+. Bonus points right there! Add another point for style because we can’t get enough of those exclusive Purebaby prints! Don’t be surprised to find yourself piling your cart high. We told you so!

4. moodytiger – soft and functional swimsuit

Created by parents, moodytiger is all about letting kids explore the world in comfort and style. They focus a lot on fabric research to make sure that every piece of their activewear, including their kids swimwear, provides the freedom of movement that every child needs. Suitable for children aged four to 16, their swimsuit for kids come with UPF50+ and are soft on the skin. There may be a little pricey and may not come in a huge variety of styles – no bikinis here, but those joyful colours and prints are good enough to put a smile on our faces.

5. Petit Bateau – swimsuits with cute prints

Petit Bateau does not have a ton of options to choose from, but we still love the designs nonetheless. From dainty stripes and floral one-piece swimsuits with ruffles for little ladies to bright red sailboats and stripes for tiny gents, the options are too cute to resist! This kids swimwear for scores on the sustainability front as they are made with recycled fabric.

6. Ocean Paradise – closing down sale
You haven’t really shopped for kids’ swimwear – or for yourself, for that matter – until you’ve been to Ocean Paradise. The store is a veritable trove of imported labels for kids aged two and up, like Feather 4 Arrow, Aqua Blu and Funkita, among other swim brands. And it really is a shopper’s paradise: there is every piece of swimsuit paraphernalia you could possibly think of! Everything is gorgeous, it’s true, although it’ll cost you. Still, it’s all good quality kids’ swimsuit in Singapore! There are three stores islandwide but we say make Paragon your first port of call, as the store is dedicated to swimwear for kids.

7. Ned – closing down sale
Whoop! A kids’ swimwear brand we can really get on board with. All hail NED Swim: sun-protective (UPF50+) swimwear for kids aged one to eight. The range of UV rashies, swim shorts, one-pieces and bikini pants come in a unisex-friendly range of block colours – we’re personally particular fans of the peach and rose combo for both our boys and girls! (Who doesn’t love a little matchy-matchy family co-ordination?) The brand was set up by two sun-loving sisters and us HoneyKids mums can attest to its fabulousness. Shipping is from Australia and is free for orders over $175, otherwise a flat fee of $15 applies.

8. Cotton On Kids – Value for money kids’ swimsuits

We’re already big fans of Cotton On Kids for its awesome kids’ fashion. It’s great value, good quality and the littlies love it, which says a lot! So naturally, we’ve checked out its kids’ swimwear options for both boys and girls. The good news: it’s equally as awesome. There are affordable swimmers for everyone from toddlers to tweens, making it a one-stop shop for the whole family. Expect brightly coloured tankinis, girls’ bathers and long-sleeved swimsuits to help them stay safe in the rays, plus rashies and cool board shorts for the little fellas. We also thoroughly recommend the hooded towels to make the drying debacle as easy as possible. Need accessories, too? Deck them out in sunglasses, swim hats to protect their necks and fancy flip flops. Job done!

9. Seed Heritage – cool and cute swimwear for kids
Seed Heritage has seriously cool swimwear for kids on its racks – it’s so cute, you’ll often find us wishing it was available in our size, too! Cool prints, durable fabrics, a great fit and styles that scream fun, fun, fun: these swimmers tick all the right boxes for us parents. Hands down, these are top-quality children’s swimsuits. Love!

10. Next – extensive range of styles and designs

This UK-based clothing giant has oodles of choice, so the knee-high fashionistas in your family are sure to find something they love. Next’s clothes are also top quality, so you’ll easily fill the shopping basket up! (Be careful with returning clothes though, as you’ll be paying for postage.) There are some truly lovely options for babies all the way through to girls’ bathers and teen tankinis.

11. Tom & Teddy – swimwear for kids with bright, funky patterns
Are you down with twinning with your mini-mes? If so, then check out Tom & Teddy! We’re seriously crushing on the range of cool board shorts designed for boys and their dads. Shop locally from Ocean Paradise (see above), otherwise, order online from the UK store. The funky patterns and bright colour combos earn the seal of approval from us, and the rashies are also a top recommendation.

12. Seafolly – iconic swimsuits for kids
We’re putting it out there: if you’re looking for affordable swimwear for kids, then mayyyyybe don’t look here. As much as we adore iconic Aussie swimwear label Seafolly, it’s definitely not the cheapest option to take. However, we challenge you not to fall in love with the gorgeous girls’ bathers… and not get yourself a little sumthin’ sumthin’ while you’re at it! If you’re out and about and want to see things up close, there are four concept stores to choose from. Otherwise, grab the laptop and order online.

13. Sun Paradise – all the swimwear brands under one roof
Sun Paradise carries a range of swimming equipment and gear, including UV wetsuits for kids who hate the cold! As well as a decent range of kids swimwear, you’ll also find a variety of goggles, kickboards, swim cap, snorkelling accessories and more. Shop online or head to one of their stores around the island to see for yourself.

14. Roxy – swimsuits for sun, sand, and sea
Earn yourself some brownie points with your tweens by kitting them out with beachwear from surf brand Roxy. It’s seriously cool stuff on offer here that they’re sure to be torn between options! Stock up on bikinis, rash vests, leggings, poncho towels and more from this must-have brand. Total promise: they’ll love you forever for it.

15. Baby BeachBums – swimwear for kids with eczema
Not just content with offering stylish swimwear for kids, the folks behind Baby BeachBums also take sun protection very seriously. Check out its online store for its all-in-ones, rash vests and more. If you’ve got little ones ready to start swimming lessons, then rest assured the thermal wetsuits range will keep them nice and warm in the pool. Oh, and you can also stock up on swim diapers for the teeny little swimmers while you’re at it! We reckon it’s a top contender for kids swimwear in Singapore. If your little one has eczema, then take a look at the fleece-lined options, which can help to minimise skin irritations caused by chlorine or saltwater.
