1. Khaosan Road

This historic road in Bangkok’s Old Town serves as one of the main hubs for Songkran in Bangkok. The entire stretch closes to traffic and transforms into a full-scale water battleground. It draws both locals and tourists who come to cool off and celebrate. Buckets, water guns and anything that can hold water quickly become part of the action. Bars and pop-up stages blast EDM and chart hits from day to night. Entry checkpoints help keep things safe, so you can focus on the fun.

2. Silom Road

If you prefer more room to move than Khaosan Road, head to Silom Road for Songkran in Bangkok. This 2km stretch becomes a pedestrian-friendly zone during the Thai New Year. Many venues along the street also bring their own themed parties. Highlights include the “CP Splash to Space” experience at CP Tower Silom, with interactive installations and live concerts by T-pop artists. The International Pride Parade takes place on April 14 (4:30–5:30pm), featuring over 3,000 participants celebrating diversity. And Silom Edge brings together DJs, a dance area and free water refill points. Please note that no powder, high-pressure water guns or alcohol are allowed.

3. S2O Songkran Music Festival

Returning for its 11th year, S2O holds its crown as an EDM aquatic spectacle for Songkran in Bangkok. The experience is fully immersive, with signature 360-degree water cannons firing in sync with every beat drop. This year’s lineup features world-class DJs including Alan Walker, Steve Aoki, Zedd and Kygo. 4. K2O Songkran Music Festival

If EDM isn’t your thing, S2O spins off a new festival for Songkran in Bangkok. Debuting this year, it brings the same signature world-class production, from massive stage design to cutting-edge lighting, sound and water effects. Across four days, expect a shift from daytime water-soaked fun to high-impact nighttime performances, with large-scale stages, immersive lighting and water effects. 6. Splash The Beat at 25 Degrees
