At Stamford American International School, there is no ‘one-size-fits all’ approach to learning with the aim to inspire each child to achieve more than they believe they can. A proudly non-selective school and aimed to provide a high quality international education to children from diverse backgrounds, Stamford offers the full International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme, aligned to U.S. AERO (American Education Reaches Out) standards for children aged 18 months to 18 years. As one of the leading US-centric schools, Stamford American integrates the rigorous American Education Reaches Out (AERO) standards as part of the curriculum from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12. The journey starts from 18 months with the use of Teaching Strategies Gold Tracking which is aligned to the USA Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework. Combined with NWEA’s Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) testing from age 5 to 16, this provides developmentally appropriate standards essential for guiding the learning of children in their care.
