Encouraging our little ones to learn not because they have to, but because they want to has long been a parenting challenge, which is why we can’t wait for the opening of Stamford American International School’s brand new Early Learning Village in August 2017. Not only is the school’s outstanding early years curriculum designed to engage eager young minds from the go, but with purpose-built features including discovery outdoor play spaces, a multi-purpose gym, swimming pool and Reggio Emilia-inspired classrooms, we absolutely know that this is THE place to inspire small people from 18 months to six years old to really love learning.
The Early Learning Village – a world first!
Early learning education is the cornerstone of Stamford American International School’s commitment to helping future generations thrive in an ever-changing world. With that in mind the Early Learning Village was created to inspire little ones to embrace learning in a state-of-the-art facility never before seen in Singapore – or the world! Designed to maximise every child’s desire to explore, imagine, learn, create and grow, our advice is to join a monthly open house or playgroup at the school, pronto, to discover how cool this place is for yourself – spots for August 2017 are filling up fast!
Stamford American International School also has our little linguists well covered: as part of the early years curriculum two of the world’s most widely spoken languages, Spanish and Mandarin, are taught daily from 18 months! What’s more, they also have the Bilingual English/Mandarin Program from the age of three, which aims to develop excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin. Fun for our well-rounded tiny learners doesn’t end there either: the Village also offers the world-renowned Suzuki Violin lessons from age three, boasts six huge rain-or-shine playgrounds (how awesome is that?), an extensive range of CCAs and Accelerated English Program and offers the acclaimed SMART Steps and Perceptual Motor Program (PMP) to boost motor skills and learning. Can we be kids again, please?
Take a peek into a day in the life of a future IB graduate
We could keep telling you more about how brilliant the ELV is going to be for kids, but we think it’s time to hand over to those whose opinions count the most here: the kids! Check out these cute siblings as they guide us through a day in the life of a future IB graduate…
