Keen to change your parenting style, but not sure how to go about it, or if your tweens and teens would be receptive towards it? The parenting educators from EtonHouse International School are here to help!
Update: Due to unforeseen circumstances, our panellist Tracy Dawson will be replaced by her colleague Peter Dart.
You’ve just found out about respectful parenting and felt that the approach resonated with you. However, most of the resources you found apply to younger children, and you’re a parent of tweens and teens.
So how do you start respectful parenting, especially when you have older children who are used to your existing parenting style? What can you do to help them adapt to this new approach, and most importantly, is it ever too late for you to be the parent you want to be?
We’ll be addressing all these and more with the help of EtonHouse International School’s parenting educators in our upcoming webinar. Here are the deets.

Who are the panellists?

He hopes to pass on this enthusiasm to learners and teachers in his network. Peter’s passion for learning also includes a keen interest in technologies and how they are changing learning and the world around us. In his role as the PYP Coordinator, he is always looking for new and exciting ways to bring technologies into the curriculum.
Ann Richardson
Inclusion and Well-being Coordinator at EtonHouse International School Orchard
Ann hails from Melbourne, Australia, where she completed her education at Monash University and the Australian Catholic University. With a background in teaching at Catholic and independent schools in Australia, Ann sought to broaden her horizons within the International School setting. Relocating to Singapore in 2014, Ann became part of the Australian International School community, contributing both as a teacher and in leadership capacities until her return to Melbourne in 2021. However, drawn back by Singapore’s vibrant lifestyle, she eagerly seized the opportunity to join EtonHouse as the Head of Inclusive Education. EtonHouse’s dedication to personalised education resonated with Ann, who firmly believes in fostering positive and uplifting learning experiences tailored to individual strengths while addressing challenges. With a Master of Education specialising in Special Education, coupled with credentials as an Expressive Therapies Counsellor and Self-Reg Facilitator, Ann advocates passionately for inclusion. Her career trajectory reflects a consistent commitment to providing tailored support for students’ diverse needs, underpinned by the belief that respect and understanding flourish in inclusive environments. After years of close interaction with children and their families, Ann understands the pivotal role communication plays in achieving success. She advocates for a parenting journey grounded in mutual respect, trust, and connection. As a Self-Reg facilitator, Ann assists parents in calmly helping their children navigate through life’s frustrations, disappointments, and obstacles. Beyond her professional pursuits, Ann cherishes time with her three adult children, one residing in Singapore. Her leisure interests include travel, yoga, and nature walks, aligning with her holistic approach to life and education.
