Follow One World International School’s teachers for a tour around the school as they share what they love about the brand new campus in Newton.
Heard great things about One World International School (OWIS)’s brand new campus in Newton? Fab news: the campus is up and running, welcoming children aged three to 11 (Grade 5). OWIS’ third campus is centrally located near Novena and Orchard, making it convenient for families with preschool and primary school-going children.
Curious about the campus? Let the teachers give you a tour.
Lucky us, the HoneyKids team was given a super insightful tour of OWIS Newton – by none other than the teachers themselves, including Principal Angela Henderson. We managed to check out the campus’ unique Friendship Hall, where children get to play and mingle with each other; the vibrant Early Childhood classrooms; as well as the school’s reading nook that’s equipped with books in three languages (English, Chinese, and Japanese).
The principal and teachers even showed us some of their favourite spots around the campus – we’ve got it all on video right here.
We love how the campus is designed with children in mind, with lots of lovely spaces for little ones to learn and play at the same time. The Friendship Hall is also a nice touch, its name and purpose aligns with what OWIS is known for, which is its kindness-led learning approach. These spaces encourage children to collaborate and learn from each other, helping them develop crucial skills beyond those found in textbooks.
