Online shopping for kids’ clothes and toys: Tiny Crab Stories launches in Singapore

Got a little human in your life with a penchant for looking adorable? Take a tiny look at Tiny Crab Stories. And maybe even win one of three not-so-tiny $170 vouchers!

If you’re a regular HoneyKids reader you’ll know we’re rather partial to a spot of online shopping, especially for the kids (well, equally especially for us, and yes, we’re well aware the maths of that statement doesn’t add up). We’ve given you the lowdown on the stores in Singapore that make it easier to dress your kids gender neutrally if you so desire, and where to buy that precious first pair of shoes for your bub. We’ve even made it our duty to find the best places to buy second hand baby clothes, but if it’s time to update your tiny person’s wardrobe or toy box, we’re not-so-secretly pleased to tell you about the new online kids’ store, Tiny Crab Stories.

Adorable toys and decor from Meri Meri

Tiny Crab Stories is the online baby of Lotte Klomp, a Dutch gal who calls Singapore home. Lotte’s inspiration for starting the store was simple: she loves Singapore, she loves kids, and she loves brands from her homeland. Voila, Tiny Crab Stories was born as a way of bringing high quality, adorable pieces from the Netherlands to the families of Singapore. We love the name, which is a mashup of three elements: the lucky tots (‘Tiny’) who get to wear the clothes and accessories or become proud owners of the oh-so-cute toys, Singapore’s national dish (‘Crab’), and ‘Stories’, which is about Lotte’s desire to create a business that’s more than just an online store. Lotte sees Tiny Crab Stories as a platform for parents who share an interest in leading an authentic and pretty-as-a-picture life.

Yep, it’s another “do you have these in big people size?” moment with Repose AMS

So what will you find on Tiny Crab Stories? Oh, so many lovely things. Elegantly simple pieces from FRNKYS, fun but beautiful toys and accessories from Meri Meri, and uber cool outfits from Gray Label will get you started. Repose AMS is the brand we want to wear ourselves, while the leather booties from Birds of Nature complete the look. Sizes range from newborn to four years – yes, this is all about the tinies! – and prices start at $3.50 for removable tattoos, up to $89 for those gorgeous leather shoes, and $120 for a fancy organic party dress. Shipping in Singapore is free for orders over $100.
