Ultimate guide to Minion Land at Universal Studios Singapore

Location and how to get there
Sentosa, the State of Fun and home to Resorts World Sentosa’s myriad of attractions, is also where you will find Universal Studios Singapore and Minion Land. As one of six themed zones within the theme park, head straight through the gantry down Hollywood Street and turn left to access Minion Land (where Madagascar used to be!). For information on getting to Universal Studios Singapore, parking and more, check out our Ultimate Guide to Universal Studios Singapore.
Opening times
Minion Land is one of six themed zones within Universal Studios Singapore, and will open on 14 February 2025. As at the date of publishing, we haven’t had word on if Minion Land is available at park opening, or if it will have a delayed opening time like Jurassic World (which opens at 11am, whereas the park hours usually begin from 10am).
Pricing and Express Pass
Entry into Minion Land is covered in the cost of a Universal Studios Singapore entry ticket. We are yet to hear which of the Minion Land rides and attractions, if any, will be included in the Universal Express Pass (top-up fee separate to the entry ticket, which allows you to skip the queues). Watch this space!
Gru’s Neighbourhood and the Minion Mayhem Ride

The iconic house with a roof as pointy as Gru’s nose can be found in Gru’s Neighbourhood. This is the home of Gru, Lucy and the girls – Margot, Edith and Agnes, and is where you’ll find the most exciting of the new rides – Despicable Me Minion Mayhem! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a Minion? Dare to climb aboard a vehicle designed by Gru and enter his laboratory to begin the process of becoming an actual Minion. With hyper-realistic screens that create a fully immersive experience, dash through the air and back to earth, going upside down and spinning around in this thrilling ride which we think will be the highlight of this new space!
Super Silly Fun Land
Buggie Boogie

Fans of the carousel that used to be themed out with the crew from Madagascar will be excited to see this glow up! The first-ever Minion dance party-themed carousel makes its debut at Universal Studios Singapore as part of Minion Land. Little ones and big kids alike will love hopping aboard a range of super silly creatures and having a boogie to popular songs remixed by deejay Carl!
Silly Swirly

This ride looks super fun (see top image) and similar to crowd fave Dino Soarin’ over at Jurassic World. Climb in a creature and take off on an adventure! Spin and soar through the sky while catching views of Super Silly Fun Land and the Universal Studios Singapore lagoon. We’ll be keeping an eye on how this one works, and if you need to press and hold a button to raise your car up higher – this always makes for a bouncy ride down when you accidentally let go! Will keep you posted when we get a turn to ride it.
F&B at Minion Land: Super Hungry Food Stand

Feeling peckish? We haven’t heard what tasty treats will be on offer at this all-new restaurant unique to Universal Studios Singapore. Inspired by the movies and Super Silly Fun Land from Despicable Me, we’re hoping for ice cream, minion themed food items, and maybe even bananas?
Minion Marketplace
Want to take a bit of minion mayhem home with you? Minion Marketplace is where you’ll find all of the limited edition and exclusive merch, including toys, homewares, fashion and accessories. There is not one, but three adorable shopping spaces, each themed and overrun with mischievous minions!
Sweet Surrender

It’s a candy wonderland, with Minion flavour! Sweet Surrender is a candy themed store that features a giant jawbreaker machine, and the mischievous Minions. Here is where you’ll find – you guessed it – candy. But there’s also a great range of Minion-themed fashion, toys and plushies, homewares, and fun souvenirs the little ones will love!
Pop Store

Teens and tweens are sure to love this space. The Pop Store feels a little grittier, like you’re in the belly of Gru’s lab where to Minions get to work. Here, the Minions are getting stylish with modern designs and a street-art style. Here’s where to shop if you’re looking for a slick tshirt, sunnies suitable for a super villain, or stationery high schoolers will proudly show off. Pick up on-trend latest fashion with a Minion twist!
Fun Store

Cuteness overload! The Minions are hard at work here in the Fun Store. This is the place to go to experience the inventive Minions in action at this ‘research and development’ themed shop. Take home some minion magic with travel accessories, toys, cushions, cups and mugs, and more!
