Treat Dad like a king this Father’s Day 2025! From boozy brunches and big breakfasts to all out at-home fare – we've got daddy dearest covered...
Father’s Day is coming, and we’re excited to celebrate Dad all day on Sunday 21 June, 2026. We’ll be busy prepping a DIY card, planning an awesome itinerary of Father’s Day activities and buying Father’s Day gift just for him. But we could always do with a hearty portion of some of his favourite dishes too, or maybe a special set menu at his fave restaurant. After all, there’s no better way to Dad’s heart than grub and drinks to go along with it!
Why trust this guide?
As a long-term expat and a foodie, my family have celebrated 12 Father’s Days in Singapore and dined out on every one. We know the importance of kid-focused entertainment when it comes to enjoying a family meal out. No one wants a grumpy kid with no suitable menu and a stuffy atmosphere where kids can’t be kids. We’ve curated this list with a Best for section so whether you have toddlers or teens, or a dad that prefers beer and burgers over fine dining, there’s an option here for you. Want to add to this list? Send me an email at amanda@honeykidsasia.com.

If you’ve got Teochew parents or in-laws like mine, you’ll know how much they delight in celebrating with authentic Teochew cuisine. Not that it’s hard to find them in Singapore, but not many lives up to their discerning tastebuds. This Father’s Day, Zui Yu Xuan Teochew Cuisine makes it easy for us all with set menus starting from $388++ (for four persons). Filled with classic Teochew dishes like the Teochew Steamed Pomfret and a platter with favourites like Ngoh Hiang, Chilled Marinated Jellyfish, and the iconic Pig Trotter Terrine. One dish we always look forward to is the belly-warming Peppery Pig’s Stomach and Chicken Soup ($48++/half chicken, $96++/whole chicken). For a more immersive cultural experience, head to their sister outlet, Chui Huay Lim Teochew Cuisine , located within a century-old Teochew club, that’s steeped in elegance and tradition.

7. A tribute to parenthood at Choon Hoy Parlor

As a parent, seeing your child work his way to becoming a successful chef is one thing, but imagine them naming one of their restaurants after you! Which is why Choon Hoy Parlor deserves a mention in our Father’s Day dining list – not just taking the tribute to parenthood to the next level but also serving up good food. Run by Chef Dylan, who also runs The Masses next door, Choon Hoy Parlor celebrates Singapore’s culinary heritage with what he affectionately calls “Singapore Soul Food”. Recently relocated, you’ll find familiar local favourites like Satay, Rojak, and their signature Kampung Chicken (we love!), all crafted with a refined twist. That’s not all! We also really like how affordable their set lunch is – three dishes, one soup from just $18.90++. You’ll even get a choice of lard rice or plain rice. We say, go for the lard rice! Plus, we heard that the restaurant boasts the largest collection of baijiu in Asia, so, if Dad enjoys a drink, house pours starts from $8++ per 20ml.

8. Say arigato with omakase at Ganko Sushi Singapore

Despite flying in top-quality ingredients from Japan three times a week, the experience starts at an accessible $98++ per person. ‘Omakase’ translates to “leave it to the chef,” and at Ganko, you’ll be in the expert hands of Chef Kuro, who curates a thoughtful, seasonal menu for each guest. Expect beautifully presented sushi and sashimi, as well as a standout Soumen dish with quail egg yolk and yam cream. If Dad is a fan of Formula One, he’s in for a treat at Torno Subito. Not one, not two, but three F1 cars are on display. Plus they have a three-course set lunch ($68++ per person) that’s named Formula Lunch, we think this might be the perfect spot to combine Dad’s love for cars with fine Italian dining! Led by the world-renowned Massimo Bottura, Torno Subito offers a playful, Riviera-inspired take on classic Italian cuisine. Feast on Genovese-style stuffed squid, Slow-cooked pink veal, and pasta like Traditional egg pasta with hand-chopped wagyu ragù. If the experience revs up more than just his appetite, consider picking up “Slow Food, Fast Cars”, Massimo Bottura’s lifestyle and recipe book featuring 85 authentic Italian recipes alongside a peek into his collection of Italian cars, interior design, and art. Our only gripe? The Formula lunch is only available for three days a week, but that just makes it feel all the more exclusive.
