Bello! We’re huge fans of Gru and his posse of pals, the small yet feisty, hilarious, denim-clad Minions. Ahead of the release of the latest movie in the Despicable Me franchise, Despicable Me 4, and Minion Land set to open at Universal Studios Singapore later this year, we go searching for the best places to find these cute creatures in Singapore.
1. JUST IN: Minion Land is coming to Universal Studios Singapore
Want to know the best place to find Minions in Singapore? If you haven’t heard the news already, minion fever is spreading through Singapore in hot anticipation of the opening of the brand new Minion Land at Universal Studios Singapore, opening 14 February 2025! Look forward to an immersive new land inspired by the beloved Despicable Me and Minions franchise. Say “BELLO!” with 3 distinct areas: Minion Marketplace, Gru’s Neighbourhood, and Super Silly Fun Land, which will feature multiple rides, (a new carousel, a 4D experience and more!) plus new Minion-themed gift shops and restaurants. Dates are still kept hush-hush, but we’ll update as soon as we know!
2. Re-watch all the movies including the latest Despicable Me 4
We’re so excited to see the first Despicable Me movie in seven years (not counting the Minion spin-offs!) Gru, the world’s favourite supervillain-turned-Anti-Villain-agent, returns for an exciting new story in Despicable Me 4! Gru faces a new nemesis in Maxime Le Mal (Emmy winner Will Ferrell) and his femme fatale girlfriend Valentina (Emmy nominee Sofia Vergara). The family is forced to go on the run, and minion mayhem ensues! A fun adventure for the whole family.
3. Build all the Minion Lego!
A brand new blockbuster movie means brands new Despicable Me themed, Minion Lego sets! If you’re looking for Minions in Singapore, you can go ahead and build them. There’s a Banana Car, a Party Bus, and even a brick-built Gru and a posse of Minions. We love the look of The Minions and Gru’s Family Mansion, which even features a little baby Gru Jr!
4. Grab yourself some Minion-themed Crocs and Jibbitz!
