AI at XCL World Academy powered by SureStart: XWA is excited to launch a cutting-edge artificial intelligence-focused curriculum designed for Grade 6 students. This ground-breaking curriculum doesn't just enhance students' internship opportunities or strengthen college applications. Its core mission is to equip students with vital life skills essential for navigating success in their post-school endeavours.

Home Language Programme: The Home Language programme aims to support our students in preserving and advancing their linguistic abilities while providing them with an opportunity to stay connected with their culture and heritage. We offer a Home Language Programme for students from KG2 to Grade 5, using two approaches:
- After-school programme (Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Mandarin), French and Spanish);
- Within the school day programme (Japanese).

Special Programmes for Students from Japan:
- Home Language Programme (KG2-Grade 5)
- Weekly lunchtime kanji learning support (Grades 6-7)
- MYP/IB DP Japanese Language & Literature (Grades 8-12)

Bilingual Programme: The programme is designed for Early & Primary Years students (Pre-K – Grade 5) and aims to provide a comprehensive introduction to Chinese (Mandarin) for native and non-native speakers during their foundational years. It focuses on developing speaking, reading, writing, listening, and communication skills in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) while also adapting to each student's needs and readiness.

Foundational English Programme: As an international school with a culturally diverse student body, some Secondary Years student applicants may be learning English as an Additional Language. Among these students are some individuals whose language proficiency poses challenges to successfully entering the XWA mainstream Secondary Years Programme.

In recognition of this, the school offers a comprehensive Foundational English Programme (FEP) specifically designed for international students in Grades 6-9 with limited proficiency in English. The FEP aims to accelerate their learning in the core areas of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, equipping them to transition into mainstream classes as quickly as possible.

XCL Camps: XCL Camps offer children aged 3-17 exciting opportunities to explore and enhance their interests and skills during school breaks. Our summer and holiday camps in Singapore are designed to provide structure and routine for children in a safe and conducive learning environment. We aim to provide a healthy, productive and active outlet for children, whilst encouraging them to have fun and make new friends.

NEW INNOVATION HUB

XCL World Academy is excited to announce the launch of the new Innovation Hub. The Innovation Hub is a state-of-the-art multi-level building purpose-designed to enhance the learning environment with the latest in technology and specialised labs for our students. Designed to be environmentally friendly and with sustainability at the forefront of design, the Innovation Hub will include clean air filtration in all learning spaces and be home to a digital multimedia lab, a top-floor student lounge, specialist labs, fabrication and design thinking labs, and a multi-use eSports arena, the first of its kind in an international school.
The focal point will be a Central Square featuring an eco-pond, meditation area, outdoor classrooms, and a bouldering wall to facilitate interaction and community building.
