This inclusive international school is having its second ever Open House. Read on to find out why this school could be the right fit for your kids.
With a superb track record when it comes to results, Overseas Family School (OFS) is a hot favourite among international families. A sense of continuity is derived from being in the same community from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12, with students following some of the best curricula in the world: International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), International Primary Curriculum (IPC), International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), as well as the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (IBMYP) and Diploma Programme (IBDP).
To top it off, the school has a wonderfully diverse community as well, comprising more than 65 nationalities. This gives its students a global perspective, giving them the opportunity to thrive in a multicultural learning environment.
Wanna see it for yourself? Pop by its Open House

OFS is opening its doors for an Open House on 11 October 2025, and all are invited. Visit its campus in Pasir Ris at 10am, where you can spend the entire morning learning about what the school has to offer. Take a leisurely guided tour of the campus, meet the experienced educators, and chat with some of the current students.
Here’s a sneak peek at what you can find out about OFS during its Open House.
It’s a non-selective international school
To us, this is one of OFS’ biggest draws. This means that everyone can be enrolled in OFS without having to take an entrance exam, and will be given the same opportunities across the board.
In fact, it’s one of the few schools — both locally and globally — that doesn’t pre-select students to take the IBDP as well. Students are given the choice of taking the full two-year IBDP, or choose a range of IB courses alongside the OFS High School Diploma.
Rest assured that your kids are in good hands here, as many of the OFS educators have held leading positions as IB examiners, curriculum developers, and more.
Admissions timings (and fees) are flexible
If you’re only moving to Singapore in the middle of the year, don’t worry! Admissions are open year-round, so children won’t have to wait for a new academic year to be enrolled. On top of that, fees will be pro-rated based on when your kid starts school — how amazing does that sound?
The school has a strong Mother Tongue Program

What makes OFS really stand out is its impressive Mother Tongue Program, which offers a whopping 15 languages!
It’s always tough having to uproot and leave your country behind for a new one. OFS completely understands this, offering students a chance to continue their pursuit of their native language whilst in a new country! Its amazing lineup of mother tongue languages include Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Hebrew, Italian, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Norwegian, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish.
Having a connection to their roots has allowed the students to maintain some familiarity, helping them to ease into a new environment. There isn’t any disruption to the school day either, with these mother tongue language classes being seamlessly integrated into the school day.
Students benefit from this approach, and it shows!

Indeed, having a strong proficiency in one’s native language can also provide support for the IB Bilingual Diploma, which gives them a leg up when it comes to university applications. OFS has wow-ed with marvellous academic achievements, especially in both the IGCSE and IB Diploma examinations.
For example, it has a 99% pass rate at IGCSE, with 51 students attaining straight A*/A grades. In the May 2025 IB Diploma examinations, OFS students attained an average score of 35 points, which is well above the global average. In fact, 23.2% of the candidates achieved more than 40 points, and two students clinched an impressive 44 points.
Don’t just take our word for it, and head on down to see the school for yourself! If you’re unable to make it for the Open House on 11 October 2025, feel free to reach out to OFS’ admissions team for a personalised tour of the school.
