Kids Run is back again this year! Still on the fence about joining? We’ve listed down all the great (and fun) reasons why you should sign the fam up for it.
Great news, parents: Kids Run is back this school holiday, and we heard that it’s going to be the best one yet! Here are the deets:
Date: 4 June 2023
Time: 8am – 11am
Venue: Palawan Green, Sentosa
This kids-focused run co-organised by Cold Storage and Giant is the perfect opportunity for the fam to have some precious bonding time while staying active. Besides that, we were told that there’ll be fun fringe activities at the race for the whole fam as well.
Still thinking if you should sign the fam up for this race? Here are three reasons why we think you should.
1. It’s a kid-friendly race for all – including first-time runners.

Worried about the difficulty of the race? Fret not – Kids Run is a race for children and adults of all fitness levels! Seasoned and competitive little runners can join the Strawberry Girls and Blueberry Boys (for seven to nine year-olds) or Apple Girls and Pineapple Boys (for ten to 12 year-olds) categories. First-timers, beginners, and parents who just want to join the fun can sign up for the non-competitive yuu-Zu Family Fun category. In fact, the yuu-Zu Family Fun category is stroller-friendly, so bub* can even join the race in their strollers! The race distance is one point six kilometres for all race categories, while the Apple Girls and Pineapple Boys categories cover a distance of two kilometres.
*Minimum age of six months old as of 4 June 2023.
2. Runners get $100 worth of goodies!

That’s right – the kiddos get to bring home some really cool race merchandise and goodies from Kids Run. We’re not just talking about race t-shirts; your race premiums include a water bottle, medal, race bib, goodie bag, free entry into Sentosa, discounts on selected Sentosa attractions, as well as F&B and retail vouchers to use on the island! A fun, active family day at Sentosa – sorted.
3. There’ll be fun carnival games and activities for the whole fam

The fun doesn’t end with the race. You can expect to see carnival game booths and kids activity stations at Palawan Green as well. Everything you need to keep the kids entertained, active, and who knows, they may even pick up a new skill at the carnival too!
A day of healthy, clean fun
All in all, you can look forward to an active day filled with healthy fun with the family. For those with competitive little runners at home, Kids Run is an opportunity for the young ones to challenge themselves and stand a chance to bring home up to $400 worth of prizes on top of a glittering trophy. If you’ve yet to introduce running to the kids, there’s no better opportunity than through a kids-focused run that comes with fun and games.
Sounds good? You can register yourself and the family now before registrations close on 21 May 2023. Fees are $55 per child for the competitive categories; whereas yuu-Zu Family Fun’s fees are $65 for one adult and one child^, with a top-up fee of $20 and $45 for every additional child and adult respectively.
Bonus: Sign up by 16 April 2023 to enjoy Early Bird rates of $50 per child for the competitive categories, and $60 per adult and child for the yuu-Zu Family Fun category.
UOB cardmembers enjoy 10% off the normal rate.

Ready, set, go!
