Keep the kids up (very) late and head on down to watch your favourite team in the Football World Cup 2022. Don't think the kids will make it to the wee hours? We've got 'leave the kids at home' options too...
The excitement is really ramping up with FIFA World Cup 2022 just days away! We know that Qatar isn’t ideal when it comes to match timings and time zone, but if you happen to have a footy fanatic fam at home and want to keep the kids up late as a special treat, here’s some inspo of where to head to for the fixtures on the big screen. Psst, we’ve also got a few ‘ditch the children’ options too! Who are you cheering for?
Where to watch FIFA World Cup 2022 in Singapore with kids
1. Changi Airport Terminal 3

Air con, a huge screen, loads of seating and space for the kids to run around are the name of the game over in the public area at Changi Airport Terminal 3. There’s plenty of seating, but we say get there early and make the most of the other cool activities to try with kids in the world’s best airport.
Where: Changi Airport Terminal 3, Departure Hall North (public side).
2. Chijmes

Chijmes is always a fave of ours for fam-friendly dining, and they’ve really scored this World Cup with their football frenzy extravaganza. If there’s no rain, then you can catch live-screening of world-class football action throughout the entire season on a 360″ screen and other big screens at the Lawn and Basement 1 of CHIJMES. There are also some football-themed exclusives like tapas platters if you fancy getting a family dinner while you’re there. There will also be some awesome live performances to watch out for too. Worth keeping the kids up very late for, we say!
Where: El Mero Mero (The Lawn), Harry’s (01-14), PEMENCO (01-15/16), Simply Retro by Tin Box (B1-06) and The Winery Tapas | Bar (B1-05) from 21 November to 18 December 2022

5. Canopy Garden Dining

Good news, one of our favourite cafes is extending its hours, especially for the World Cup – yay! Both the Bishan and Hort Park branches of Canopy Garden Dining will be screening the football and running exclusive offers throughout the World Cup – check out the IG for all the deets!

6. ActiveSG Sports Centres
It stands to reason that an initiative that encourages Singapore to take up sports is showing one of the biggest sporting events of the year across five of its clubs. Cheer for your favourite team at Pasir Ris, Jurong West, Toa Payoh, Woodlands and Hougang ActiveSG Sports Centres this World Cup.

7. Atmosphere Bistro
We’ve long been fans of this laid-back spot at Parkland Green, in the heart of the East Coast Park, and with a small indoor playground and plenty of open space for kiddos to run around outside, this makes a great spot to mix the football action with a family night out.
Where: Atmosphere Bistro, 920 East Coast Parkway, #01-25/26/27, Singapore 449875
And if you are going solo and ditching the kids for the event…
8. Cafe Football
Where better to watch the football than in a cafe dedicated to football? The bar is part-owned by Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs (Man Utd legends, no less) and is the perfect spot for a night of World Cup revelry. Plenty of great grub and a huge range of beers seal the adult-night-out deal.
Where: Cafe Football, 48 Woodleigh Park, Singapore 357844 and Cafe Football Jurong, 2 Townhall Link, 608516.
9. Ce La Vi

If you want to catch the World Cup final in style, then head high and book a spot at Ce La Vi to see the action on its 65-inch televisions. Enjoy the resident DJs pumping out the tunes from 10 pm come the big final. Psst, guests wearing their favourite team jerseys will receive complimentary entry!
Where: Ce La Vi, Level 57, Tower 3, Marina Bay Sands, 1 Bayfront Avenue, Singapore 018971
10. Boat Quay
There are plenty of fun spots and excited spectators in all of the bars lining the river. Head down, pick a spot and cheer! One thing is for sure – it’s gonna get rowdy.
